Base Class: Wizard
So you wanna cast spells while being as quiet as a rogue? Then you're in luck, this is the class for you.
Silence Savant
Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy a spell without a verbal component into your spellbook is halved.
Silent Spells
Beginning at 2nd level, you learn how to cast spells without making a sound. Every cantrip you know and every spell in your spellbook no longer has the verbal component. Meaning you can cast any of your spells when in a sphere of silence.
Powerful Silence
Starting at 6th level you can summon a more powerful version of the silence spell. You can summon it once per long rest at 6th level, twice per long rest at 8th level, three times per long rest at 11th level, four times per long rest at 15th level, and at 17th level you can restore 1d4 uses during a short rest.
Powerful Silence
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self (30 ft. sphere)
Duration: Up to 10 minutes
Description
You hold your spellcasting focus in your hand summon a 30 ft. sphere of powerful silence centered on yourself. Any creature or object entirely inside the sphere is immune to thunder damage, and creatures other than yourself are deafened while entirely inside it. Casting a spell that includes a verbal component is impossible there. The sphere lasts 10 minutes unless you use your focus to dispel it.
Forceful Sound
Starting at 10th level, while you're in a sphere of powerful silence, any thunder damage you would've dealt is changed to force damage.
Empowered Silence
Beginning at 14th level, you can add your Intelligence modifier to one damage roll of any non-verbal wizard spell you cast.
