Base Class: Fighter
The wielders of Arcane Arms spent many years under the guidance of gifted teachers. These teachers were skilled with both spellcasting and martial prowess. As these brave Fighters advance through their training they begin to garner the attention of those of either a higher or lower plane of existence. And so one of these beings will take the Arcane Arms-person under their tutelage and teach them the ways of the Divine or the Infernal respectively.
Arcane Strike
At 3rd level, you learn to imbue your melee weapon with arcane energy to battle your enemies. Once per turn when make an attack action, you can apply arcane energy to your weapon dealing 1d6 + half your level in force damage.
Arcane Blast
At 7th level, you can use a bonus action to cast Arcane Blast. You emit a blast of arcane energy that spreads in a 10 foot sphere from the caster. Those affected must make a dexterity saving throw determined by your spell casting DC. On a fail you deal 3d6 force damage and those affected are thrown 10 feet away from the caster and knocked prone. A successful save reduces the damage by half and they are only forced back 5 feet and still standing. At 18th level the sphere is increased to 15 feet, the damage is increased to 5d6 and the affected are thrown 20 feet. This feature can be used once per short rest.
Arcane Wave
At 10th Level, you gain the ability to store a well of raw magical energy deep inside. As an action, Twice per long rest you may release a portion of this power from either your body or your weapon. you may release a 15 foot radius arcane blast centered on yourself dealing 4d6 force damage to enemy targets. Targets must also make a dexterity saving (DC = Charisma modifier + proficiency bonus) throw or be knocked prone.
Surging Movement
At 15th level, as a bonus action, you may release a burst of raw arcane energy from your feet launching you up to a distance of 60 feet in any direction of your choosing. You may bring one willing creature with you for 30 feet. This may be done three times per long rest.
Body and Blade
At 18th level, the magical bond with your weapon has put you in perfect sync, an aura surrounds both you and your weapon, deflecting blows and giving your blade the sharpest possible edge. You gain +2 to your AC, and melee attacks ignore damage resistances.
