Base Class: Monk
Monks who choose the Way of the Raging Storm are often gentle souls who's personalities are warped by the intense energies that permeate the bodies of those training to master the techniques. Few monasteries have followers of the raging storm as its practice often results in destruction, this has lead those who follow the path to become nomadic souls who wander the world trying to produce some good out of their destructive tendencies.
Lightning Strike
3rd-level Way of the Raging Storm feature
As electricity courses through your body you harness this energy to make a series of attacks against your enemies. As an action, you can spend 1 ki point to almost instantaneously move up to your movement speed in a straight line. Make a melee attack against any creatures of your choice whose space you pass through. You can spend additional ki points (up to 2) to repeat this move again, either switching directions or maintaining your original trajectory. While moving past enemies in this way you cannot be targeted by attacks of opportunity, additionally you can use this movement to move up into the air, beginning to fall at the end of your turn.
Thunder Clap
6th-level Way of the Raging Storm feature
You gain control over the storm raging within, allowing you to exert a thunderous burst of energy in front of you. As an action, you can spend 3 ki points to make enemies in a 20 foot cone make a Constitution saving throw taking 4d8 thunder damage on a failure or half as much on a success.
Storm Fists
11th-level Way of the Raging Storm feature
The storm within you has gained strength and now pours into your every attack. Your melee attacks do an extra damage 1d6 lightning damage.
Embodiment of the Typhoon
17th-level Way of the Raging Storm feature
The tempest within has swelled to the point that it can take over your whole body. As a bonus action, you can spend 8 Ki points to release the storm and enter a state of destruction. For 1 min, you gain the following benefits:
• You can make one additional attack per turn when you take the attack action.
• Extra damage from Storm Fists becomes 2d6.
• When you cast Thunder Clap the range is now a 40 foot cone.
