Base Class: Paladin
Tenets of Purgation
These tenets are subject to different wording, based on the Paladin or the deity they follow, but follow these general examples.
Purge the Wicked. No good can come from cavorting with fiends, undead, or evil Fey. Any who do are fools.
Magic is a Tool. Magic is meant to serve man, not rule over them.
Power Corrupts. Those who have proven they cannot be trusted with power should not have it.
Be the Example. Blessed are those who stand before the corrupt and the wicked and do not faulter.
Channel Divinty
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Annulment. As a reaction, you target a creature that is casting a spell within 60 feet of you and force it make a Charisma saving throw against your spell DC. If the creature fails, the spell fails and has no effect. Undead, Fiends, and Spellcasters who have been hit by your Divine Smite feature this round have disadvantage on this saving throw.
Turn the Arcane. As an action, you present your holy symbol and emit an aura of spell disrupting energy. For 1 minute, you and any allies within 10 feet (increasing to 30 feet at 18th level) of you gain one of the following effects: 1) Advantage on saving throws from hostile Spellcasters or 2) Incoming Spell attacks have disadvantage. This effect ends early if you are incapacitated or if you willingly end it as a bonus action.
Purgation Decree
Starting at 3rd level, the damage of your Divine Smite feature increases by 1d8 if the target is a creature that can cast at least one 1st level or higher spell that does not have the Innate Spellcasting ability. This extra damage does not stack with fiends or undead.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Aura of Apprehension
Beginning at 7th level, you emit an aura of warding planar energy, extending 10 feet from you in all directions. Creatures cannot teleport, by means of a spell or other ability, to or from a space within this aura, so long as you are not incapacitated. Any attempt to do so wastes the action and/or spell slot.
When you reach 18th level in this class, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Arcane Disruption
Starting at 15th level, whenever you damage a creature with your Divine Smite feature, that creature has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes to resist the effects of a spell cast by you or one of your allies.
Additionally, you gain the effects of the [feat]Mage Slayer[/feat] feat as described in the PHB, pg. 168.
Blessed Nullifier
At 20th level, your very presence on the battlefield is debilitating for your foes. You can use your action to gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- You have resistance to all damage inflicted on you from spells.
- Whenever you end a spell effect with dispel magic, counterspell, or your channel divinity feature, you gain 2d8 temporary hit points.
- When you end your turn, any number of creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you take 10 psychic damage. If a creature loses concentration on a spell because of this damage, it takes this damage again.
This effect ends early if you lose consciousness or die. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
