Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

As a being of strength and dignity, your attention and affection is a valuable commodity, and when you give it freely to those you care about, they are able to do amazing things. Path of the Father barbarians draw strength from their comfy chairs, their well kept lawns, and the unending love and support they have for their children, biological or not.

You give strength to those around you with terrible jokes, inappropriate cheering, and your dedication to seeing them become functional adults.

Be proud of your dad-bod, Its the last line of defense against the forces of evil.

Aggressive Optimism

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage is replaced with frothing encouragement. While you’re raging, you scream support and care into your allies giving them +1 AC while within 10 ft of you. The effects of your encouragement require that you are understood by your allies, and can only be given in one language that you know.

The effects of your rage can be removed by a magical silence, but will resume once you are able to use verbal components again.

The range of the effect increases to 20 ft at level 5 and 30 ft at level 11.

At level 17 your passion knows no bounds and can be felt up to 100 ft away with no verbal requirements.

Healing Embrace

Beginning at 6th level, your warm embrace can provide supernatural comfort and restoration to those you care about. Take five Embrace dice (D6 at Level 6), Which you can spend as an action to hug a creature and heal the roll plus your Wisdom modifier.

When you reach certain levels in this class, the Embrace die increases:  D10 at 10th level and  20 at 14th level.

Embrace dice are recovered on a long rest.

Like my own

Once per short rest, you can inspire an ally by taking an interest in their life. Doing so gives the target +1 to all ability checks and saving throws until you take a rest.

To use this feature you must spend 1-Hour actively participating in a hobby of the target's, playing a physical game such as catch, or having a heartfelt conversation with the target.

Unconditional Love

When you use your Aggressive Optimism, your support and belief are able to push your allies beyond their own limits, granting 1 Embrace die of temporary hit points to each ally. This effect can be used again on your turn when your ally has no temporary hitpoints
