Base Class: Barbarian
A true Barbarian uses their rage and might to crush their foes and come out of the fray victorious. The all consuming rage can be almost impossible to control but it can be channeled and focused. Barbarians that take the Path of the Unyielding can focus their rage toward a specific target to ensure success and victory is achieved. Once an Unyielding Barbarian has focused on a target there is very little that can stop it from dominating and destroying the focus of its rage.
Menacing Presence
At 3rd level, when you choose this path, your very presence becomes intimidating. You emanate strength and determination. Those within your presence know that you can and will follow through with any threat you make. You have advantage on intimidation checks on creatures within 5ft of you that can see you, and you may use Strength instead of Charisma for the check if you so choose.
Relentless Assault
At 3rd level, while you're raging, you may choose a creature to become your Relentless Assault focus. Each successive melee weapon attack that hits the focused creature causes extra damage of the weapons damage type. The extra damage starts at 1 for the first hit, 2 for the second hit, and 3 for the third hit. Further melee weapon attacks against the focused creature continue to do 3 extra damage per hit as long as you continue to attack the focused creature each round with a melee weapon attack. Missing a melee weapon attack does not reset the damage, however attacking another creature with any attack or failing to attack the focused creature with a melee weapon attack for one round does reset the damage back to first hit. Attempting to grapple or shove the focused creature also counts as attacking for the purpose of maintaining extra damage. You must be raging to maintain Relentless Assault on a creature.
You may choose a new creature to be your Relentless Assault focus if the current focused creature has died, becomes unconscious, or remains undetectable or unreachable for at least one round. The damage resets back to first hit upon choosing the new creature.
Perpetual Persistence
Starting at 6th level, if you are charmed, frightened, paralysed, restrained, or stunned at the beginning of your turn, you may use a bonus action to break free of the conditions in order to pursue your Relentless Assault focus. You may only use this feature if the focused creature is within your movement range, and you must move within 5ft of the focused creature. You may use this feature once per rage.
Greater Relentless Assault
At 10th level, the damage of your Relentless Assault changes to 2 for the first hit, 4 for the second hit, and 6 for the third hit. Also if you are using Reckless Attack, the focused creature doesn't get advantage on attack rolls against you while you are within 5ft of it, and it cannot restrain, charm, or frighten you while Reckless Attack is active.
Unwavering Resilience
Beginning at 14th level, if you end your turn within 5ft of your Relentless Assault focus and have maintained third hit damage this round, you gain temporary hit points equal to half your barbarian level rounded down.
