Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Paladins who take the Oath of Reputation are shining examples of the blessings their deity can provide. In their travels, they enchant and inspire common folk, ensuring that they know of the benefits of devotion. They do their best to build a sterling reputation for their religious order, and often are influential in recruiting and converting people to their cause.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Fall from Grace. As an action, you attempt to break the confidence and leadership of an enemy using your Channel Divinity. Choose one creature within 60 feet of you that can hear you to make a Wisdom saving throw equal to your spell save DC; if the creature is a leader within a group opposed to you, they gain a bonus of up to +3 on the roll, as determined by the DM based on their status in the group. On a failed save, the creature has disadvantage on all ability checks using mental stats, and takes a penalty equal to your Charisma modifier to all saving throws using mental stats, both for one minute. In addition, if the individual is a leader as previously defined, any order they make within their group for the next hour has a 50% chance of failure while within 500 feet of you; you make these rolls.

Called Favor. As a bonus action, you attempt to use your Channel Divinity to bring others within your fold, or at least closer to it. For the next 10 minutes, you have advantage on any Charisma ability checks to interact with creatures you are not in combat with.

Oath Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Oath of Devotion Spells

Inspiring Presence (Hot Stuff)

Starting at 7th level, you can designate a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1) that are within 10 feet of you to gain a 1d6 inspiration die. This die can be added to one attack roll, ability check or saving throw the creature makes in the next 10 minutes. This feature may not be used again until you complete a short or long rest.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Clapback

Beginning at 15th level, whenever a creature hits you with an attack, that creature takes psychic damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1) if you're not incapacitated.

Sterling Reputation (#Influencer)

Your renown has grown to a point where even those hostile to you know better than to come for you and your allies, because there will be consequences.

  • Whenever a creature attempts to make an attack against you, you can force them to roll a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the attacker is forced to pick a new target. If it cannot attack a different target, the creature cannot use the Attack action.
  • Additionally, if a creature attempts to make an attack against an ally within 30 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose the Wisdom save on the attack.
  • You have resistance to nonmagical slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage.
