Base Class: Bard
Summon a grand piano or organ to defend yourself and your allies with a glorious concerto and a crowd of defensive guardians. Eventually rising to a stage to take your place above the rabble.
Triumphant Forte
When you join the College of the Grand Pianist at 3rd level, as an action you can expend one Bardic Inspiration die to summon a stationary, magical piano in your space. It may take the form of a translucent, ghostly, grand piano, or a shadowy organ, or perhaps a simple wooden studio piano. The form is decided by the nature of the bard. You take up a 10 foot by 10 foot square while sitting at your piano. In addition you create a 20 foot radius of difficult terrain centered on your piano when you sit at it as spectral guardians rise to hassle your foes. These guardians may be muscular bouncers or adoring, crazed, fans, or skeletons and undead that stand watch, their form is determined by the form of your piano.
The piano remains for 1 minute, it disappears early if you move from it.
Unstoppable Concerto
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to direct your guardians to protect you more efficiently. As a bonus action you can expend a Bardic Inspiration die to grant disadvantage to all attacks made by hostile creatures in the area of your Triumphant Forte until the end of your next turn.
Mezzo Guardians
At 6th level, you have learned the subtle control required to open space in your performance for allies. Creatures of your choice are not affected by the difficult terrain created by your Triumphant Forte.
Stage Performer
Beginning at 14th level, you have perfected the defensive capabilities of a structure to perform from. When you activate your Triumphant Forte you summon a stage with your piano that grants you half cover.
