Base Class: Ranger
The musketeer is essentially a ranger with guns, though with a few less tricks up his/ her sleeve than their nature-bound predecessors. Musketeers are usually found in the service of some king, lord, or rich noble, and are rarely seen travelling in parties unless they are on missions, or are unemployed and are just looking for adventure, but since their ranged skills are so sought-after, they are rarely unemployed.
Sniper Shot
As the musketeers are trained in the use of precision weapons, they gain a +2 bonus on to-hit rolls against targets that are 100 meters away or further. As well as this, they gain a +2 bonus on their to-hit rolls when aiming at a large creature or object. If they're shooting for a specific thing with their musket, then they do not roll at a disadvantage, but they don't get their +2 bonus either (Example: A musketeer attempts to shoot at an apple that is sitting on a fence roughly 200 meters away. He doesn't roll at a disadvantage, nor does he gain his +2 bonus)
Piercing Shot
The musketeer loads a special kind of ammunition into his/ her musket causing it to deal piercing damage equal to double what he/ she rolled for damage. Has two charges, recharges every long rest.
Buckshot
The musketeer loads a ton of buckshot into his/ her musket rather than standard ammunition to fire a shotgun-like burst dealing 3d8 piercing and bludgeoning damage to anything within a twenty-foot cone in front of the barrel. Solid objects that are made of anything harder than wood will provide an obstruction to the blast, and anything made of wood that is one-foot wide or wider also provides an obstruction.
