Eldritch Knights of the Order of the Rod

Order of the Rod and Order of the Staff are used interchangeably as the name of this knightly order. (Detractors, especially other warriors, are known to use the name Order of the Stick as a slur, though this seldom seems to bother the Spellguard.) Knights of this order that favor rods usually utilize the Two-Weapon Fighting or Dueling style and have the acid flail, arc blade, flame lash, and ice cudgel spells as signature spells. Spellguards that favor staffs use the Great Weapon Fighting or Defense style and adopt the arcane staff, shadowstaff, shimmerspike, and thunder pike spells as their signatures.

Spellcasting

An Order of the Rod Eldritch Knight uses spells that create and conjure weapons and forces, you choose spells as noted on page 75 of the Player’s Handbook, except that you must choose spells from the conjuration and evocation schools when you learn spells known instead of abjuration and evocation.
