Base Class: Monk
Blessed with the blood of the dragons, those following the Way of the Scale eschew passive introspection in favor of unshakable confidence. These monks learn to combine brutal intimidation with the brazen ferocity of an ancient wyrm to devastate their foes.
Draconic Might
Any of the scaled fist’s class abilities that make calculations based on her Wisdom (including bonus feats with DCs or uses per day, such as Stunning Fist but not Wisdom-based skills or saving throws) are instead based on her Charisma.
Draconic Bloodline
At 3rd level, you unlock the secrets to your draconic bloodline. Choose one type of dragon from the following table. This decision determines the effect of several features you receive as you advance in levels.
You also unlock the ability to channel the breath of a dragon through your fists. As a free action on your turn, you may spend 1 ki point to give all your natural weapon attacks 1d6 additional damage until the beginning of your next turn. The type of this damage is dependent on the dragon chosen.

Draconic Mettle
At 6th level, you gain immunity to fear effects and resistance to the damage type of your chosen draconic bloodline.
Breath Weapon
Beginning at 11th level, you can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your draconic bloodline determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. This takes an action and costs 5 ki points. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic bloodline. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus. Each creature takes 1d6 damage per monk level on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one.
Draconic Apotheosis
At 17th level, you're able to take full control of the draconic blood inside you. The damage from your draconic bloodline feature increases to 1d8. You also gain immunity to your bloodline's damage type.
When rolling initiative, you may spend 2 ki points to produce a threatening presence. All enemies within 60ft must make a Wisdom saving throw. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Charisma modifier + your proficiency bonus. Any creature who fails this save is frightened. At the end of a frightened creature's turn, they may attempt the saving throw once more. This lasts for 24 hours or until the creature saves out of the effect. Once saved, the creature is immune to your frightening presence for 24 hours.
