Bard
Base Class: Bard

Imagination is a wonderful thing. The bards of this college learn to harness their imagination into beautiful works of art. With the right magical touch these works of art can inspire, heal, and even create allies to aid the bard in their various feats.

Quick Project

3rd-level College of Imagination feature

You can create works of art during a short rest. While doing so this also counts as using your Song of Rest Feature.  You can hold up a minimum of 1 pieces of art this is based on your Charisma Modifier + Proficiency.

Artist Calling

3rd-level College of Imagination feature

When you join the College of Imagination at 3 level, you gain proficiency with Painter’s Supplies, Calligrapher’s Supplies, or Potters Tools of which now also become a spellcasting focus.  You will also gain a special College of Imagination feature based on your choice.

Artistic Solution (Painter’s Supplies)

As an action, you can expend a bardic Inspiration to allow you to magically create three-dimensional objects by painting them in two dimensions. This lets you create inanimate objects or terrain features--such as a door, a pit, flowers, trees, cells, rooms, or weapons. The size of which is based on your bardic inspiration die.  If your bardic inspiration is d6 you can draw tiny objects, d8 you can draw small objects, d10 you can draw medium objects, and d12 you can draw large objects.

Barrier of Inspiration (Potters Tools)

You have learned to make various sculptures. All this time crafting with clay and other materials has allowed you to use a bardic inspiration to gain a temporary resistance to nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing.  This effect will last for 1 hour.

The Written Word Tells More (Calligraphers supplies)

You learned how to make beautiful and inspiring pieces of literature. This literature can be a short story, or a poem. You can imbue that piece of literature with a bardic inspiration dice. As a bonus action, you or an ally can admire this piece of literature and feel inspired and benefit from your bardic inspiration.  These works of literature only expire after being used. The piece of literature remains as a collection of your great works, however, can no longer inspire you or an admirer. Your piece of literature holds its inspiration for a number of hours based on your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

Vivid Imagination

6th-level College of Imagination feature

At the 6 level, your works of art can now summon a creature based on your vivid imagination.  The creature must have a challenge rating of ¼ of your Bard level or less. If creature is defeated the work of art is destroyed. If your summoned creature survives it turns into a valuable piece of art worth 250GP times your Bard Level at the end of a long rest. You are only able to use this feature once per long rest. Two times at 14 level.

Artist Chaos

14th-level College of Imagination feature

At the 14 level, as an action you can go mad with creativity. In this mind chaos of creativity, you find yourself able to use up to all of your remaining bardic inspiration dice to inspire every ally in sight and granting them 2d10 point of healing. This is done by making a piece of art so inspiring that everyone can see its beauty.  These works of art are so inspiring you can sell these up to 7,500 GP. The more bardic inspiration dice spent this way the rarer your artwork will become. The trade of such chaotic creativity you under got a short form of artist block preventing you from using any of your class features until the end of your next turn.
