Base Class: Rogue
A paladin stands at the forefront of their cause. A cleric ushers forth the will of their deity. A druid invokes the spirits of nature to aid ally and fell foes. All three are the example of beings bestowed with great power beyond normal means serving a higher cause. The Pallbearer is not one of these. Unlike a cleric who embraces the way of their deity and openly represents them. A deity or such may require the skills of a less than desirable lot. A Pallbearer is chosen when a deity requires the skills and attitude that may work outside their own natural alignments. As such Pallbearers are not gifted with divine energy to cast spells, but are rather curried divine favors. A pallbearer may act in any such way they desire to accomplish their deities goals. You may not be blessed exactly like a cleric or such, but it doesn't mean you're without friends in high places
Domain Blessing
Starting at 3rd level, you may choose from one of the following cleric domains, Life, War, Nature, Grave and receive blessings accordingly
Life
You are proficient in all saving throws and you gain a maximum HP bonus equal to your proficiency bonus at level 3 and every odd level then after.
Grave
you are resistant to psychic damage and necrotic damage. You also add your proficiency bonus as either bonus psychic or necrotic damage for Sneak Attacks.
Nature
Stacks of exhaustion take twice as long to apply. If a source would apply exhaustion to your character it most do so again before a stack is applied. Also you gain advantage for saving throws against being charmed or put to sleep.
War
You have advantage on saving throws against being feared or frightened and you may choose one Ranger class fighting style.
Divine Favors
Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain access to Divine Favors. Roll a number of d4 equal to your charisma modifier(minimum of 1) and total the rolls. This total represents the number of points for divine favors you have. When using a divine favor you are in fact subtlety asking your deity's assistance in some manner or action. Listed below is a list of favors one my call upon from their deity. You must roll a new set of d4s at the end of each long rest and may roll one d4 during any short rest to recover any lost points. You may not exceed the number of points you 1st gained at the end of your long rest when recovering points during a short rest. Every 3 level after this one add 1 to the total roll outcome of any time you would recover points. (Exp. 6th lvl Xd4+1. 9th Xd4+2, 12th Xd4+3....) Using divine favors is a free action.
Bolstered
Expend 2 divine favor points to gain temporary hit points equal to your Con + Char modifiers. This affect ignores the ruling of temp. hit points and may stack with any existing temp. hit points except itself.
By Shadows I walk
Expend 3 divine favor points to increase your effectiveness when stealthed. When using stealth, any creature that tries to perceive you must roll a d6 and subtract it from their perception check.
Guided
Expend 1 divine favor point to gain the effects of the Guidance spell.
Hand of God
Expend 1 divine favor point to double your proficiency bonus for Sleight of Hand checks.
Trusted
Expend 2 divine favor points if an ally is within 5ft of you, granting you both +1 to AC and attack rolls for 1 minute. If you are knocked unconscious or lose control of yourself in any manner, end this affect.
Weak Minded
Expend 1 divine favor point to ask for your deities assistance in distracting a foe. Target a creature you can see and they must make a wisdom saving throw (DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + charisma modifier). On a fail you gain advantage on attack rolls made against the target for 1 minute. If the target were to take any damage from a source other than you during this duration, they may make a new saving throw to end the effect.
Divine Strike
Starting at 9th level, your devotion to your deities cause has rewarded you with a boon just like that of their clerics. Depending on which domain you choose at 3rd level, you gain that domains Divine strike trait. If Grave domain was your choice then choose either psychic or necrotic as your Divine Strike damage when gaining this trait.
Brother to the Cloth
As you yourself are not blessed to access the spells of such classes as that of Paladins, clerics, or druids, does not mean you are without hope. You are still an agent of the divine chosen to fulfil whatever deity has called on you their purpose. Starting at 13th level, you act as an extension or amplifier for your caster allies. Using your Cunning Action, you can as a bonus action choose a Paladin, Cleric, Druid, Wizard (Necromancy or Divination school), or a Sorcerer ( Divine Soul or Shadow Magic) ally that is within 60ft, both can see one another, and share a similar alignment. The two of you become linked and you yourself help bolster their potential. For this to stay in affect the two must stay within 60ft and be able to see one another. If at any time you were to become unconscious or loose control of yourself, this affect ends. Listed below are the effects generated from the link. The Rogue at any time may severe the link and use Cunning Action to establish a new one.
Cleric
You reinforce their conviction granting them advantage for concentration saves
Druid, Wizard and Sorcere
You are as if an extension of their own beings. While you two are linked, the Druid, Wizard, or Sorcerer may once per combat cast a spell as if they were standing in the Rogue's position. This does not employ disadvantage for ranged spell attacks if the Rogue is within threatening range of an enemy.
Paladin
You become an extension of the paladin's auras. You radiate one aura of your choice that the paladin would radiate but at half the range.
My Cause is Righteous
When you reach 17th level, you have become so favored by your deity that during a short rest you regain full count of your Divine Favor points as per what you started with at the end of your last long rest. You also gain access to the Clerics Divine Intervention trait. Replace Cleric levels with your Rogue levels when using this trait.
