Base Class: Monk

You have a special ability to see and feel the presence of Ki beyond the average monk. You are now aware that the flow of Ki controls the very state of everything. With this information you have devoted yourself to learning how to manipulate the flow of Ki. All of your senses are attuned to the point where they are connected to Ki. As you grow stronger you can even distinguish the intent of the Ki not just from the sight and feel of it, but through the smell, sound, and taste that you become aware of when you deeply focus. You are able to see Ki in all things: people, animals, nature, and even within magic. Even in magical darkness you are able to sense the Ki around you; However your sense of Ki is limited by its range.

Range- 40 feet

You are most likely unable to see normally as there is far to much to process. To dilute your senses you are forced to completely cover your face so you cannot see and your normal sense of smell is weakened.

Other Attributes:

 

Proficiency in Arcana.(You are able to read the flow of Ki to determine magical effects.)

Proficiency in Medicine. (You are able to read the flow of Ki in a body in order to maximize healing.)

(Note: The best Feat for this class in a role playing manner is magic initiate.)

 

Controlled Force

3rd Level

When you use your action or bonus action to dodge you are able to role a D20 + Dex Modifier each time you are attacked. If your role is equal to or beats the attackers attack role you are able to interrupt the flow of their Ki, and cause their attack to fly off suddenly to a random direction (not directly back). This works even if they beat your ac but don't beat your roll.

 At level 7 your master of this ability improves. If your role is 5 points above the attack role you can drain the Ki (add 0.5 Ki to your power) from the attack and completely nullify it.

You are able to unlock even more uses of this ability at level 11 If your role is 10 points above the attack role you can cause a ranged attack to fly in any direction you want. It can travel  the distance between the caster and yourself.It can cause the energy of a melee attack to suddenly revert back as force damage, or you can control the motion of the weapon and cause it to hit someone else in range (weapon cant leave attackers hands unless Dm decides).

You are always able to choose to do one of the lower abilities if your roll exceeded their requirement.

Flow Surge

6th Level

 

Perfect self-*You are able to boost the Ki of a creature. This costs 2 Ki.*

You stimulate the Ki of someones body to flow at a much faster rate. This gives that individual advantage on all roles for the next 15 seconds. You can reduce the expenditure of Ki to 1 if you activate this ability using one of the movements from flurry of blows (flurry of blows would still cost 1 Ki to activate first). Must initiate through touch. 

Joint Power-*You are able to boost the Ki of a spell. This costs 2 Ki.*

You are able to react with this action when a spell is cast. You send out your Ki towards the spell/caster and amplify the power of the attack by doubling the dice that are rolled. If the spell is an effect spell than the effect is doubled. Also if the spell requires a saving through the target is at disadvantage. Range touch. Cost of Ki is equal to the level of the spell.

 

Central Circulation

11th Level

Central Circulation effects 

1.) Heal a person for 1 martial arts die.cost is 1Ki point

2.) You can control a 1 foot cube of an inanimate non-magical object  This can even duplicate the effects of the mending spell.

(As long as the break or tear is no larger than 1 foot in any dimension, you mend it, leaving no trace of the former damage.
This ability can physically repair a magic item or construct, but the spell can’t restore magic to such an object.)

Notes:

  • What you alter does not have to fit in a 1 foot cube its just that the mass as a whole cannot exceed a 1 foot cube.
  • You do not have to be touching the exact area you are effecting but you do have to touch something which is touching what is effecting; in order for your Ki to flow through properly.
  • If used on a living creature the creature must allow it of their own free will
  • cannot destroy or create matter (ex: you can turn a metal knife into a ball but it still exists.) ; however, you can compress or extend matter an existing matter to a small extent. The more complex the matter the more Ki it costs (Dm decides) some matter cannot be compressed or extended at all.

Consuming the Current

17th Level

*Costs 3 Ki*

You must be touching the target to activate this ability. Your opponent must make either a constitution or wisdom saving throw (casters choice) against your wisdom ability score. If they succeed than they only take half damage. Multiply your level by one D8; that is the damage. for every 5 points of damage you do to the opponent you get back 1 Ki point. This ability can be used only twice per long rest. (Note: You can use one of the movements from flurry of blows to activate this skill reducing the cost of Ki to 2 points)
