Base Class: Monk
You channel power from the wider multiverse to empower your ki and draw on energies ad infinitum. By focusing within yourself you can draw out greater power within your ki.
Channel Ki
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can spend time to channel your ki into stronger attacks. On your turn you can use an Action to begin your channel which can be continued for up to 1 minute. Whilst channelling you emit a bright light in a 10 ft radius and dim light for a further 10 ft and you cannot attack or use reactions, your speed is halved and you lose any benefits of special senses such as darkvision. In addition, if you receive damage whilst channelling you must succeed on a Constitution or Wisdom Save, the DC being the higher number between ten and the damage you received, if you fail this saving throw the channel ends early and you are unable to use any channel abilities until you channel again. Once you have begun your channelling, on a subsequent turn you may use your Action to perform the following actions by using your ki points;
Cosmic Ray. (1 ki point) All creatures in a 30 ft line in front of you must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, creatures receive 3d10 radiant damage, or half damage on a successful save. For every additional turn you spent channelling, you can add an additional d10 radiant damage. The base damage of this attack increases by d10 at 6th level (4d10), 11th level (5d10) and 17th level (6d10).
Cosmic Shroud. (2 ki points) Your body becomes supercharged with ki energy. For a number of turns equal to the turns spent channelling, you gain an additional bonus 2 to your AC and your unarmed attacks deal an additional 2 radiant damage on a hit.
Ki Sense
At 6th level, you gain the ability to sense other sources of ki. By channelling for at least one turn you can extend your ki sense up to 10 ft multiplied by your monk level. Whilst in this state you are able to accurately sense the location of other sources of ki, by their character level or CR, in relation to you. In addition you can perform the following channelled Action;
Soul Sense. (1 ki point) By focusing on one ki source in your sense range you can expend one ki point to learn the alignment of the ki source.
Ki Manipulation
Beginning at 11th level, you are able to use your ki in new ways. By expending ki points you can use the following abilities;
Ki Flight. (3 Ki points) By expending three ki points you can use your Action to gain a flying and swimming speed equal to your walking speed for up to 10 minutes.
Supernatural Reflex. (2 Ki points) By expending two ki points you can use an additional reaction before the start of your next turn.
Power Beyond Flesh
At 17th level, you gain the ability to burn through your life force to harness even greater power. You can instantly use your channel, essentially skipping turns you would have spent channelling, by sacrificing 1 hit die and 10 hit points, you can do this any number of times for the same channel as long as you have hit die and hit points remaining to sacrifice, to a maximum number of channelled turns skipped equal to your character level. You may instantly use a Channel Ki ability after having used this feature, or you may continue channelling. In addition, there is no longer a limit to how long you may channel your ki.
