Base Class: Bard
The ability to create and a legend is a powerful one. To inspire others into a story of your making as College of Ballads bards manipulate the tempo of battle to the favour of themselves and their allies. With a simple inspiring tune or tales of old a college of ballads bard can indeed call out the legend in anyone.
Battle Ballad
At level 3 you learn how to manipulate the flow of battle through your music. As a bonus action you can grant allied creatures that are within 60ft of you (which can hear you), a bonus equal to your charisma modifier to their next attack and damage roll, or their next saving throw. This can only be done as many times as your charisma modifier per short rest.
Finale
Also at level 3, you learn how to finish a fight with a theatrical ending. As an action you can unleash your final act upon an enemy as a special attack that uses your charisma. At the start of combat finale deals 1d8 + your charisma modifier in damage. Finale's damage increases by 2d8 each time you expend a bardic inspiration die or when you activate battle balled. Finale's damage resets after the end of combat. Finale can only be successfully done once per long rest.
Inspiring Tune
At level 6 you learn how to inspire your allies to keep going in the face of danger. When you use bardic inspiration on an ally you also grant them temporary HP equal to your bardic level plus your charisma modifier.
Immortalize Legend
At level 14 you have mastered the ability to push your allies past their mortal limits. As an action you can grant an ally within 60ft of you that can hear you the following benefits for a minute:
-Advantage on all saving throws and attacks
-a bonus to damage equal to your charisma modifier
-resistance to all damage
This feature can only be done once per long rest.
