Base Class: Bard
While others seek out mastery in song or storytelling or swordsmanship, bards of the College of Colors find their inspiration through a palette and brush. They use their mastery of illustration and color ways to channel their skills in arcanum, most using either a pen or paintbrush as their focus. Though not always as musically inclined as their peers, color bards still find themselves just as capable of inspiration and creativity.
Artistic Proficiency
When you join the College of Color at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Painter's Supplies, as well as advantage on performance checks using your artistic skill.
Artistic Flair
As your artistic abilities have grown, you have learned how to manipulate the paint with your brush masterfully. Starting at 3rd level, you can flourish your brush, extending a long colorful tendril of paint. You can consider this as a magical whip, which you are proficient with. If the attack hits, the creature takes 1d6 slashing damage. If the attack hits, as a bonus action you can make the creature make a dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, A glob of paint covers the creatures eyes and they are blinded until the end of your next turn.
The whip's damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 11th level (3d6), an 17th level (4d6).
Painted Skies
At 6th level, you have mastered painting different weather patterns with uncanny realism. As an action, you can use a bardic inspiration to roll a d8. Based off of the number you rolled and the chart below, you can paint in the air in front of you a depiction of that type of weather pattern, giving a number of your allies equal to half of your level in a 30ft radius an extra damage die equal to your bardic inspiration die dealing the specified damage type when they hit with a melee attack for up to a minute. This ability is concentration. Once used, the same damage type cannot be used again until you have completed a long rest.

An individual may only benefit from one bonus at a time. The types of portraits include:
