Base Class: Cleric
You claim no special training or circumstances, but your fate has now drawn you to a life of adventure. As an ordinary person, your path will be harder than those blessed with talent or with power. Nevertheless, you seek to carve out your legend, and prove yourself a true adventurer.
Common Talent
When this domain is chosen at 1st level, all cleric class armor, weapon, tool, saving throw, and skill proficiencies are replaced by this feature.
You are proficient with either light armor or medium armor.
You are proficient with any two weapons, or with any one weapon and shields.
You are proficient with in two saving throws.
You are proficient with any two skills, or one skill and one tool.
Life of an Adventurer
When this domain is chosen at 1st level, you no longer benefit from any cleric class features, except Ability Score Improvement. Additionally, you are unable to take a feat instead of an ability score improvement.
Elementary Training
Starting at 2nd level, you gain proficiency with one simple weapon and one martial weapon of your choice.
Extra Attack
Beginning at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Experienced
You are no longer a novice adventurer and you have learned new skills and new ways to defend yourself since you first set out on your adventure.
At 8th level, choose one additional skill and one additional saving throw to be proficient with.
Nascent Legend
The trials you have faced along your adventure have changed you from the ordinary person you once were into a true adventurer.
At 17th level, you choose two feats, provided you meet the prerequisite for them.

Severely underpowered IMO, but possibly interesting for an NPC. Then again, that’s probably the point.
