Base Class: Warlock
You were hired by big money and given economic powers that allow you to destroy your enemies through the exploitation of the average goblin, troll, or necromancer's understanding of the word "usury". Your patrons might be as distinct as the Templar Order from Medieval Europe, Big Money Salvia, Scrooge McDuck from Ducktales, or the Monopoly Man from Avengers: Infinity War.
A Small Loan
At 1st level, your patron teaches you the magical power of MONEY. You gain the following benefits:
- You can use a gold coin as a spellcasting focus.
- You can choose to transform your money into incantations. Instead of using a spell slot, you can cast a spell by spending an amount of gold equal to twenty times the spell's level (not your Warlock slot level). The spell is cast at its most basic level (for example, casting Armor of Agathys with this feature will only grant you 5 temporary HP, regardless of your level).
- You may cast any spell you know that has the Ritual tag as a ritual.
Expanded Spell List
As a Warlock of the Big Money you can add the following spells to your spell list:
- Augury
- Comprehend Languages
- Creation
- Fabricate
- Find Steed
- Glyph of Warding
- Identify
- Leomund's Secret Chest
- Rary's Telepathic Bond
- Sending
Mercenary Economics
At 6th level, you can use your patron's contact network to summon a mercenary. As an action, you choose a space within 30 feet of yourself and the mercenary spawns there; the mercenary is a fey, fiend or celestial, chosen by the DM, of up to a third of your Warlock levels in CR. It is friendly to you and your party, but will not follow your exact orders, although it will listen to advice and plans. The mercenary will remain for one minute before disappearing again. You may use this feature once per long rest.
ShamWarlock
At 10th level, as an action, you can summon a vendor to a space within 5 feet of you. This vendor will have access to a wide selection of items of your DM's choice, and will buy any worthwhile item you offer them. You cannot use this feature while in combat, nor can you interact with anything else until you dismiss the vendor as an action. The vendor will also disappear if your dealing is interrupted by an enemy.
You may use this feature as many times as you wish- provided your DM doesn't get tired and decides to start selling you cursed items.
Multi-Level Malediction
At 14th level, you become a cog of the corporate machine. You choose a number of willing creatures equal to your CHA modifier within melee range. As an action for each one of these creatures, you bestow upon them a measure of your power; they each gain access to Eldritch Blast, a first-level Warlock spell of their individual choice they can cast at will at first level, and an eldritch invocation of their choice. Their spellcasting modifier for these is their CHA.
