Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Music show musical expertise. Their ability to repeat any tune or key is un-matched by anyone.

Music Bards are mentored in a wide variety of ways, whether learning from a famous entertainer or studying staves by candlelight.

Members gather at taverns, town squares, campuses, or wherever people wish to hear their beautiful ballads and songs.

The life of a hardcore musician is not an easy one. It could be bandits trying to steal your precious viol or angry fans booing you off stage, life as a nomadic entertainer is harsh.

When you join the College of Music at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with two more skills of your choice. You gain Expertise in the Performance or Sleight of Hand skill. You also gain expertise in two instruments, and proficiency in 2 more instruments.

Beginning at 6th level, you can use soothing music or oration to help revitalize your wounded allies during a short rest. If you or any friendly creatures who can hear your performance regain hit points at the end of the short rest by spending one or more Hit Dice, each of those creatures regains an extra 2d6 hit points.

The extra hit points increase when you reach certain levels in this class: to 2d8 at 9th level, to 2d10 at 13th level, and to 2d12 at 17th level.

Musical Inspiration

Starting at 14th level, when you use your Arcane Music, you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration. Roll a Bardic Inspiration die and add the twice number rolled to your spell save DC. You can choose to do so after they roll the die for the saving throw, but before the DM tells you whether they succeed or fail.
