Base Class: Monk
RISK AND REWARD
Starting when you choose this Tradition at third level you gain the ability to weigh the risks and rewards of combat. These abilities allow you to assist your team while benefiting yourself in the process.
Risk: As an action on your turn you can expend 1 ki point to transfer Health from yourself to an ally of your choice within 5ft of you equal to your monk level + your wisdom modifier. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier per long rest.
Reward: If you down an enemy in combat while within 5ft of an ally you have used Risk on, you regain health equal to your monk level.
TAKE THE BULLET
At 6th level you gain the ability to quickly come to the aid of an ally. As a reaction you can spend 2 ki points to throw yourself between an attacker and an ally within 10ft of you. You choose whether to block the attacker, giving them Disadvantage on the attack, or making a Dexterity check to take the place of your ally. You can use this feature twice per short rest.
IMPROVED RISK/REWARD
At 11th level the cap for your Risk and Reward features raises to 2x your monk level + your wisdom modifier for Risk and 2x your monk level for Reward.
ULTIMATE SACRIFICE
At 17th level you gain the ability to risk everything for your allies. Once per long rest when you drop below half health, you can bring yourself down to 1hp, diverting the rest of your hit points to any allies within 30 ft of you. (This ability is not mandatory every time you drop below half heath.)
