Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

A personifier is a master of the ancient eldritch magic of the tarot deck. The tarot decks represents aspects of the soul and with training one can learn to personify these ancient powers using the cards that symbolize them. These powers can be used in a variety of ways but are also very dangerous and tend to have nasty side effects that can only be overcome with extensive training and a fair amount of luck.

Personifiers cannot pinpoint their powers exactly at any one moment for the soul is something that is always changing and flowing. Therefore this is represented as a card deck that is drawn from randomly so that your soul may choose which card best represents you at this time. This means that a personifiers power requires a lot of luck, however as personifiers become stronger in their craft they begin to learn how to bend these energies to more appropriately fit whatever situation they find themselves in.

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the wizard spell list.

Cantrips

You learn three cantrips: guidance, mage hand, vicious mockery

Spellcasting Ability

Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for your wizard spells, since you learn your spells through dedicated study and memorization. You use your Intelligence whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Intelligence modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a wizard spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier

Card Slinging

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Sleight of Hand, or Performance, so long as you are using a deck of playing cards (such as performing a magic trick, or shuffling a deck to your advantage). If you already have proficiency in either of these skills, double the bonus gained for these when using a deck of playing cards to complete the check.

Starting from 3rd Level, when you take the Attack action, you may use a deck of playing cards to make the attack, with which you gain proficiency. Cards deal damage equal to 1D6+DEX. You gain Sneak Attack bonuses as normal when attacking with a deck of cards. You have 22 cards, representing each on of the major arcana, As long as you have at least one card left on your person, your deck will regain its missing cards after a Long Rest.

The cards take 30 minutes each to create and are lost once you cast the spell. Creating each card also requires any gold cost for materials to imbue it plus an additional 20 gold per spell level. 7th level cards cost 140 gold , 4th level cost 80 gold, and 2nd level cost 40 gold each.

Fated deck

At 17th level, you gain the ability to magically shape a standard deck into a deck of many things.
