Monk
Base Class: Monk

A tradition passed for centuries, the monks of the Iron Fist Society specialize in more lethal martial arts.

Ferocious Fist

As a monk of the Iron Fist Society, you've learned how to make your martial arts more lethal. Starting at 3rd level, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack with your martial arts, you can expend 2 Ki points to deal force damage to the target, in addition to your martial arts damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for a 2 Ki points, plus 1d8 for each additional Ki point, to a maximum of 10d8.

Menacing Face of the Iron Fist

When you choose this Monastic Tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill. Also, you can expend one Ki point to give yourself advantage on any intimidation check you roll for the next hour.

Iron Will

When you are using your martial arts and another creature hits you with an attack or subjects you to a saving throw, you can use your reaction to add your Strength modifier to your AC or the saving throw, potentially causing you to succeed. Once you use this ability, you cant use it until the end of your next turn.

Interfering Counter

Starting at 11th level, you can use your reaction to deflect or catch the weapon when you are hit by a melee weapon attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 1d12 + your Strength modifier + half your monk level (rounded down).

If you reduce the damage to 0, you can catch the weapon if it is small enough for you to hold in two hands and you have both hands free. If you catch a weapon in this way, you can spend 1 additional ki point to make a melee attack with the weapon you just caught, as part of the same reaction. You make this attack with proficiency, regardless of your weapon proficiencies, and the weapon counts as a monk weapon for the attack. Once the reaction ends, you wield the weapon in your hand.

Catastrophic Strikes.

Starting at 17th level you now deal double damage to objects or structures, and the maximum die rolled for your Ferocious Fist is increased to 15d8, or 16d8 towards constructs, you can also subject a creature to a Strength saving throw against your Ki save DC or be knocked prone when you hit them with your Ferocious Fist.
