Base Class: Ranger
The army of knights rushed towards a cloaked man in an open field. Running is futile when outnumbered to this degree, all you can do is surrender. Or so you'd think. The cloaked man assumes a crouched position as he launches himself into the air, exploding with purple energy at the height of the jump. As the explosion fades, the soldiers freeze, witnessing the glowing bow carved from void within his hand. As the man draws his bow, the release of the massive arrow seems almost instant as it strikes the ground where the soldiers once stood. Anyone caught in the blast was completely disintegrated within seconds as nearly half of all the soldiers seems to disappear. The Voidstalker draws his bow once again.
Voidstalker Magic
Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the voidstalker spell table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you but doesn't count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Arcane Arrows
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to create an arrow infused with arcane properties. Your eyes and bow glow a deep purple as you pull back the string. A glowing arrow made of an arcane source deep within you called Void manifests knocked in your bow as it takes the form of any spell you wish. You can now take 3 cantrips from the wizard spell list and create an arrow out of the spell as a bonus action. At level 5 you can create 3 level 1 wizard spells, at level 7 you can create 3 level 2 and at level 9 you can create 3 level 3 spells. These arrows function the same way your ranger spells function.
Magic Empowerment
At 7th level, you've infused magic into your body to peak your physical abilities. You gain the following enhancements:
- Increase your movement speed by 15 feet.
- You can now Lunge, an enhanced jump that launches you equal to your movement speed. When lunging, as a bonus action, away from a creature, you don't provoke attacks of opportunity from that creature for the rest of the turn.
- Arcane energy empowers your movement and pushes against the ground when you fall. When you take fall damage, you can reduce that amount you take by 5 times your ranger level.
- Your reflexes become lightning quick and can use your reaction to attempt to dodge any attack before it hits, by imposing disadvantage to it. Once you use this feature a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier, you regain all expended uses after a short rest.
Arcane Boost
At 11th level, you can use your hidden store of void power, you can boost your abilities for a short amount of time. You can use your bonus action to activate one effect. This effect lasts for 1 minute:
Spell Shield By creating a cloak of dark purple void energy around your body, you have a +2 bonus to your Armour Class.
Arcane Vision Your eyes change to a deep purple hue as you see the world through a magic purple tint. Grants True Seeing.
Spell Sniper If you do not use your movement this turn and put your focus into your shot, you gain advantage on attack rolls. Your attacks deal an additional 2d8 force damage.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.
Void Bow
At 15th level, you've unlocked the void energy within you completely. Your eyes burst with magic and you give off a purple aura.
You can manifest a bow made from this new unlocked power and with every pull of the string creates a void arrow. The void bow has a range of 300 feet. As an action, you can shoot 3 void arrows from the bow. Each arrow bursts into a 10-foot-radius sphere of void energy. All creatures within the radius must make a dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take 10d8 force damage. At 20th level you can fire 5 arrows instead. All creatures that die from this damage incinerate instantly, only able to be resurrected by Wish.
This feature is usable once per long rest.

Posted Feb 22, 2024I like the idea of the concept but it's too powerful, some adjustments to some skills like magic empowerment removing the additional movement speed and regaining the reflexes per long rest will make this more balanced, arcane boost buffs should be with concentration, and the damage of void bow it's too much for example if you shoot around 1 creature all your arrows, you will hit with 30d8 to one creature at lvl 15 and 50d8 at lvl 20.
