Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You never imagined this could happen to you. Just a few years ago, you were given a copy of the newest virtual reality mmo in beta. Soon after the game went live, you worked your way to the top of the server. One night while playing, something strange happened. The game’s interface offered you a choice, act as it’s agent in the game and it would give you power over the world. After accepting, everything changed and the game became real. You now inhabit the fantasy world of the game, and only you seem to know its a game. Instead of casting spells, you run programs. Where everyone else can use cantrips, you activate you apps. To you, the world consists of ones and zeros. The only unsettling thing that you’ve noticed so far is that when you get hurt in the game, you actually feel hurt and could potentially even die. As far as everyone else in the world is concerned, you are crazy.

“I know kung fu.”

You are proficient with unarmed strikes which now do 1d4 damage. This damage scales up, 1d6 at level 6, 1d8 at level 10, and 1d10 at level 14. In addition, you can use your unarmed strikes as the focus for spells that require you to make a melee weapon attack (Green Flame Blade, Booming Blade, etc...).

"I do now."

Once per long rest, as an action you may gain temporary proficiency with any skill, tool, language, weapon or armor. This proficiency lasts till you begin a long rest, at which point you may choose a new proficiency, or wait till later in the day to make your choice. If you are already proficient with a skill, you gain expertise. At level 10 you may gain proficiency with up to 2 skills, or expertise with one skill. At level 14, you gain proficiency with up to 3 skills.

"There IS no spoon."

For a number of times per long rest equal to your charisma modifier, you may choose to gain advantage on any attack roll, skill check, or saving throw you make. This advantage ignores any disadvantage.

"I am the one."

Once per long rest, if you fail 3 death saves, you instead stand up from being prone and regain half of your HP total.
