Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Fate are agents of destiny attuned to the subtle weave of fate that permeates the multiverse. They use their talents to gently tug on and spin individual strands of fate to ensure that destiny stays on course.

Fatespinner

When you join the College of Fate at 3rd level, you learn how to gently manipulate the threads of fate to ensure that one’s destiny stays on course. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you hits with an attack, you can use your reaction to expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration. The creature deals extra damage of the attack’s damage type equal to two rolls of your Bardic Inspiration die + your Charisma modifier.

In addition, when an attack roll is made against a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you, you can use your reaction to expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration after seeing the roll but before knowing whether it hits or misses. When you do so, you can roll the Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to its AC against that attack.

Intertwined Fate

Starting at 6th level, when a creature within 60 feet of you rolls a natural 20 for an attack roll, saving throw, or ability check, you regain one expended use of Bardic Inspiration.

Agent of Destiny

At 14th level, you are deeply attuned to the natural order of the multiverse and gain insight into the fate of those around you. When you finish a long rest, roll one d20 and record the number rolled. When you or a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll or ability check and rolls the number you recorded, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration and replace their roll with a 20 or a 1, but a 20 rolled in this way does not activate the Intertwined Fate feature.
