Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

As one blessed by the gods of war, you are constantly fighting on the front lines. You are far above those squishy casters that hide behind their friends, casting their fireballs from a safe distance. You charge straight into the thick of battle, overwhelming your foes with your swords and sorcery.

Destined for Battle

You gain proficiency in one weapon of your choice, and also gain a fighting style of your choice.

Dueling

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Great Weapon Fighting

When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.

Two-Weapon Fighting

When you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the second attack.

Swords and Sorcery

When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can spend a number of sorcery points up to your proficiency bonus to gain a bonus to the damage roll equal to half the number of points spent. Additionally, whenever you cast a cantrip that lists a weapon as one of its components, you can make a weapon attack against the same target if it is within range as part of the same action. You can only make this additional attack once per turn.

Avatar of Battle

You gain a flying speed of 40 ft. If at the end of your turn you are in the air, and nothing but your flying speed is holding you aloft; you fall. You can spend 7 sorcery points as an action to gain an additional action. You can only use this action to make a weapon attack, or cast a spell that requires a melee spell attack. This effect lasts for 1 hour.

Veteran of the Battlefield

You can score a critical hit on a roll of 19 - 20 with your weapon and melee spell attacks.
