Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Followers of the Oath of Fortune believe the world is a wayward place, but one that ultimately loves them. They laugh in the face of disaster as if it were a parent's half-hearted rebuke, and they humbly accept riches when the cards fall their way more often than not. Each of us is dealt a hand; the Fortunate paladin swears to play the hand they've drawn as well ass possible, no matter how bad. In the end, it usually works out for them and their comrades.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Divine Edge - When you or someone you can see within 30' makes a skill check, use your reaction and spend a use of your Channel Divinity. They gain advantage on the roll, and if you have proficiency they also gain proficiency.

Turn the Die - When you or someone you can see within 30' of you rolls a 1 on any die, spend your reaction and a use of your Channel Divinity to allow them to reroll. They may roll again if they get a 1, until they get another number.

Oath Spells

3rd level: bless, bane; 5th level: augury, enhance ability; 9th level: bestow curse, remove curse; 13th level: polymorph, freedom of movement; 17th level: circle of power, reincarnate

Aura of Luck

Beginning at 7th level,  You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you take no damage on a successful save if a spell would normally apply half damage.

At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.

Reckless Dance

Starting at 15th level, you may call on Fate to dance with you for one round. Once per long rest, declare before any actions that you are calling on Fate's dance card. At the end of your turn, if you don't like the results, everything is restored to where it was and you may play the turn again.

In addition, injuries that would permanently maim you are simply ignored.

Fate's Chosen

At 20th level, you may exert your preeminence as the chosen champion of fate. Once per long rest, use your action and take on the mantle. For 1 minute, you may use your reaction during any turn to reroll any die. The second result stands. In addition, if any creature uses Legendary Resistance to automatically succeed on a save, you may use your reaction to force it to roll anyway. While you have Fate's mantle, you may have some visible effect, such as an ethereal purple cloak billowing from your shoulders or a spinning wheel atop your head as a crown.
