Base Class: Cleric
Despite the relative obscurity of those who toil at home, their dedication to the ones they love does not go unnoticed. Few gods and goddesses claim exclusive ownership over the household, but all houses filled with love are equally full of the divine. Deities most commonly present in the household are usually those associated with domesticity, love, and/or the hearth, but is only limited by the faith of the community in which the Cleric worships. Some common examples include Hestia, Frigg, and Brigid, but some minor deities that are more closely related to the home, such as Lares, Cofgodas, and Gashin, may be capable of powering a Cleric's spells. Those with the ability to channel their household deity are usually identified by their compassion, wisdom, and generosity, but also their stern determination to comfort and protect their loved ones from harm. Many Cleric's of this domain pass their faith down within the home for generations, but Cleric's of the Home can be found in many temples; assisting in daily chores, cooking for the worshippers or the needy, or performing acts of charity in the local community. Cleric's who are called to action outside of their familial duties are usually only done so in times of great need, while others may simply be called to a new, unconventional family, bringing the home with them wherever they go.

The Joy of Homemaking
Clerics of the Domain of the Home are blessed with a copy of the book "The Joy of Homemaking": a magical tome that gives the Cleric access to a wealth of knowledge about any and all things home life. Whether through serendipity, inheritance, or study and dedication, the deity that powers the Cleric's spells sees fit to bestow upon them this divine text in order to provide them with all the guidance they will ever need. The Cleric can use their action to consult the book at any time in order to look up instructions for any task contained in the "The Joy of Homemaking". While following the instructions, the Cleric adds their Proficiency Bonus to any ability check made that uses any Artisan's Tools the Cleric currently possesses, regardless of whether or not the Cleric is proficient with the tools. The home lives of the Cleric will differ based on Background, Race, Bonds, and other aspects of the Cleric's backstory. For example, a Cleric that hails from high society may possess Jeweler's Tools as a result of their social status, where as a Cleric who is part of a nomadic clan may be more familiar with Leatherworker's Tools.
Channel Divinity: Made with Love
Starting at 2nd level, The Cleric may prepare a meal once a day that is imbued with the power of their deity, that invigorates and revitalizes all who eat it, providing Temporary Hit Points to all who eat at least one full portion. The Cleric may use any food stuffs available in order to prepare a meal for at least 4 people, spending at least 30 minutes to do so. The number of portions of the meal is limited only to the amount of ingredients, but the time it takes to prepare should be proportional to the amount created. In addition, the Cleric must be uninterrupted during the preparation of the meal, no matter how long it takes, and must have access to the "Joy of Housekeeping". The Cleric may be assisted in this task by anyone proficient with Cook's Utensils; reducing the time needed to prepare the meal to no less than 30 minutes.

| 2nd | 1d6+2 |
| 5th | 2d6+3 |
| 9th | 2d8+4 |
| 13th | 3d6+5 |

Proficiency with Cook's Utensils
The hours spent practicing your craft has made you proficient with Cook's Utensils.
Mother's Little Helper
Starting at level 6, the cleric no longer expends a spell slot when casting Unseen Servant and the servant shares the cleric's tool proficiencies. The divine energy that summons the servant makes it visible, shaping it's likeness in the eyes of the cleric's deity.
Father's Blessing
Beginning at 8th level, meals under the effect of Made with Love fill the Cleric's and his or her allies' bellies with the blessing of the Cleric's deity, granting Inspiration to anyone who does not currently possess it. In addition, as long as the Cleric possesses Inspiration, he or she is able to transfer their own Temporary Hit Points as a reaction to a companion being struck by an attack. The decision to transfer the temporary hit points must be made after the attack roll but before the damage roll.

Greater Than the Sum of Their Parts
At level 17, the Cleric and his or her spouse doubles their Proficiency Bonus for any skill check to which it applies as long as they are within 30ft of each other and aware of one another. Only one spouse may benefit from this effect at a time. The Cleric and their spouse must have been married through a tradition that celebrates all the aspects of a relationship forged in the fires of the love. This is a week long ceremony, consisting of daily rituals that culminate in a feast, at the end of which the Cleric or an officiant casts ceremony, binding the two in marriage. The two must consult the "Joy of Homemaking" daily to determine the rituals as dictated by their deity. The rituals emphasize what each party brings to the relationship, focusing on bringing their individual talents together to create important components of the ceremonial feast. For example, a Cleric skilled in weaving might design garments for the ceremony, while their significant other, skilled in woodworking may craft unique furniture for the feast. After completing the daily rituals together, the Cleric and their spouse host and prepare a celebratory feast for their friends and family. There is no upper limit to the amount of people welcome, but everyone who arrives must be fed. Those without friends and family need to find at least 2 strangers

Posted Oct 10, 2020Though I'm not entirely sure if all the views on here are just me checking the details page to see how it looks, I would love to get a little feedback on what I've done so far. I designed this subclass with the features Made with Love and the Joy of Homemaking as the crux (if only because I imagine my deity speaking like Julia Childs). Those two won't be removed, but I would be open to any suggestions on how to make them better. I would like to hear what people think about Mother's Little Helper, I'm just unsure of how valuable this is and wondered whether it would be overpowered, redundant, or just unnecessary to roll it into the Joy of Homemaking. I like the concept of Father's Blessing (or some better named lvl 8 feature) allowing the cleric to move temporary hit points around, but was worried total freedom to do so would be too much. Using inspiration as a sort of resource seemed like a good way to control it, but I would love to hear the opinions of some more knowledgable people on how well this feature would actually function. I feel like the marriage one is the flimsiest if only because it's mostly just forcing people to role play my concept character, which could be annoying, but it seems like a lay up for the DM to just do that one session with the party, which could be a nice out. It not being a feature certainly won't stop me from doing it anyway so there is no love lost if it leaves.
In conclusion, I think I am ready for some constructive feedback and am excited to hear what people think. Thanks
