Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

When the 8 stolen stars were returned to the sky above Ebbing, they left their blessing swirling about those who fought to restore them. The power granted has flown through their bloodlines and blossoms into adept Sorcerers every few generations.

Guiding Star

Starting at level 1, when you finish a long rest, you roll a D8 to determine your Guiding Star, which lasts until you start another long rest. Your Guiding Star dictates a favored school of magic, and provides a spell that you have prepared, that counts as sorcerer spells for you, and does not count against the number of sorcerer spells you know otherwise. Starting at level three, you know an additional spell for each Guiding Star, also shown in the table below.

The first time after rolling your Guiding Star that you cast a spell of your Favoured School using a spell slot, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Sorcerer Level plus the Level of the spell cast.

Fate Restored

Starting at level 6, when you make your Guiding Star roll, you may choose to reroll the die exactly once, but must use the new result.

Additionally, you gain the following Metamagic Option:

Cosmic Spell

When you cast a spell from your favored school, you can spend one sorcery point to cast the spell at one level higher than the spell slot it would otherwise consume. The increased spell level must be equal to or less than the highest level spell slot granted to you as shown in the Sorcerer spell table.

Secrets of the Cosmos

Starting at 14th level, after you roll for your Guiding star, you may choose a spell from the Wizard spell list from the Favored School and of a level that you have spell slots for. You know this spell until you begin a long rest, and it counts as a sorcerer spell for you. You may not use Metamagic when casting this spell.

Additionally, when using Cosmic Spell you may cast the spell at two levels higher instead of one, with the same level restriction.

The Seven Wonders

Starting at 18th level, when you cast a levelled spell from a school you have not yet cast since your last long rest, and have cast at least one levelled spell from 6 other schools since your last long rest, you have completed the Seven Wonders, and immediately gain one spell slot of each level that you are granted spell slots for as shown in the Sorcerer spell table, and that you have no remaining spell slots for.

Once you complete the Seven Wonders you may not do so again for 7 days.

Ascension

Starting at 18th level, if you drop to 0 hit points while you do not have a Guiding Star, you are immediately plane-shifted to The Gates of the Moon.
