Bard
Base Class: Bard

An accurate step, accompanied by a gentle stretch of the arm and then a wide turn of the body - these moves are the notes of the bards in the College of Grace. Using their choreography to tap into the arcane and their agility to top that with blades to flourish along, these bards are mesmerizing as they are deadly.

Choreographed Casting

At 3rd level you learn to channel spells through movement, Your walking speed increases by 5 feet. You may also spend 5 feet of movement in a dance move to use your body as a spell casting focus of your bard spells.

Pirouette

Starting at 3rd level, as an action on your turn you may expend one of your uses of bardic inspiration and spend 5 feet of movement to make a spin where you stand. When you do, pick one of the following effects to occur.

Bladed Pirouette. Make a Charisma (Performance) check. As long as you wield at least 1 melee weapon, creatures within melee range must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell DC or take your Performance check outcome as slashing damage this damage is considered magical only if the weapon used is magical. On a successful save they take half that amount.

Mesmerizing Pirouette. Creatures who can see you within 10 feet must succeed on a Wisdom save against your spell DC, on a successful save against your spell save DC or become charmed by you until the start of your next turn.

Reassuring Pirouette. Roll your bardic inspiration die. Each ally within 20 feet that can see you may use the number rolled on one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw until the start of your next turn.

Show Must Go On

Beginning at 6th level, on each of your turns while concentrating on a spell cast using Choreographed Casting. As a bonus action you may spend an additional number of feet from your speed equal to half the spell level (rounded up) times five. Until your next turn, whenever you make a Constitution saving throw to maintain your concentration you may make a Charisma (Performance) check instead.

Two for Tango

Starting at 14th level, when you move at least 10 feet, as a bonus action on your turn you can create an illusion of yourself in a free space within 5 feet of you. Any enemy attempting to attack you while the illusion is up must succeed on an Intelligence check against your spell save DC on every attack they make against you, as you and your illusion dance around each other causing the attacker to mistake you with your illusion and vice versa. Upon failure they hit the illusion instead. There could be only one illusion up at any time and it lasts until the start of your next turn.
