Mythomania Tree

Your patron is the mysterious Mythomania Tree, a tree found in the city of Eaton on the material plane. The Mythomania Tree is the brother tree of two other magical trees, created by the Iron Court of the Faerie. The Three Sibling trees had grown too powerful and were banished from the feywild and set to three different planes, where the Mythomania Tree landed in the material plane. The Mythomania Tree has golden apples, that upon eating, will answer any questions with lies. The tree was possibly created as a reference to the human myth of Adam and Eve. 

Expanded Spell List

The Tree lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Mind Full of Branches

Starting at 1st level, the tree gives you the ability to reach mental branches into the minds of other creatures. You can telepathically commune with any creature you can see within 30ft of you, you do not need to share the same language with the creature, as long as it understands one language.  

Recognizable Falsity

Starting at 6th level, you can tell when a creature near you is lying. Anything they try to cover with lies, you will hear as the truth. This feature lasts up to 10 minutes. 

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Nature’s Resilience

Starting at 10th level, you can choose one damage type when you finish a short or long rest. You gain resistance to that damage type until you choose a different one with this feature. Damage from magical weapons or silver weapons ignores this resistance.

The Magic of Roots

At 14th level, the magic of the tree has granted you the power to travel the realms with ease.

When you finish a long rest, you can cast one of the following spells, without expending a spell slot or requiring material components: commune with nature (with your patron as the one you question), transport via plants, or find the path.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
