Monk
Base Class: Monk

Idea behind this subclass is a monk clad in armor. Making a monk who hits harder and can take a couple more hits has always been a cool idea to me. Some of this stuff is borrowed from other peoples thoughts on the subject, but most of it is mine.

Fist of Iron

You can reroll 1's and 2's on your bare handed attacks. Can only be done once per attack

Carrying momentum

For every additional unarmed attack you land add +1 to the damage roll. This counter resets at the end of your turn.

Extra attack

Additional attack when you take the attack action

Body of steel

Spend up to 3 ki points to gain resistance to any of the following slashing/piercing/bludgeoning damage as a reaction. This resistance lasts 1 minute.

1000 fist

After first flurry of blows you can spend additional ki points to perform additional flurry of blows after each attack you take in the attack action. Bonus attacks do not activate this ability.

Best Offense Is A Good Defense

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency heavy armor, and if you are wearing armor you can use your Unarmored Defense feature if the AC it would provide is higher than your AC in armor.

You gain the proficiency with special weapon "battle gauntlets". A shield split in two or a design made special for you, your arms are your sword and your shield. Each half is worth +1AC, but they are upgraded together (a +1 magic version of this weapon only adds 1 in total not 2). Use your normal unarmed attack die for damage.
