Base Class: Fighter

Archon's are always beside a high wizard, and if they are not there, they sit in any high council if no high wizard is available. They excel at twisting their singular spell to their will, and thus changing how the game of war is played. You can find archons devoted to several different schools of magic, but you will never see an archon with more than one spell. Archons are also never neutral, there is only two sides to a war. 

Archon's Devotion

At 3rd level you gain these benefits:

-You are proficient in the arcana skill. 

-You can choose one Archon sub category with their modified spell, but be warned you must choose one sub type of archon, and commit to it for the rest of the subclass.

NOTE- The spells you cast also retain their base qualities. 

-You can cast these spells at will equal to your intelligence modifier + proficiency per day. you cast them at 1st level until level 6, you cast them at 2nd level until level 9 and cast these spells at level 3 until level 13, you cast these spells at level 4 until level 16 and cast the spells at level 5 for the remaining levels. 

Archon of Abjuration

Court archons are not to be trifled with, their arcane armor over their plate armor is harder to break than dragons hide

Mage Armor- You can cast this spell as a bonus action and can be added even if you are wearing armor (+3 AC). This spell does not require components and is committed to memory. 

Archon of Ash

The Blade you wield is the extension of fire inside you. 

Searing Smite- When you cast this as a bonus action, it no longer requires concentration and lasts 1 minute. This no longer requires components and is committed to memory.

Archon of Devils

Living in the devil infested wastelands has tempered these archons. They are fighters of few words and many actions.

Armor of Agathys- You can cast this spell as a bonus action and as a result, you gain a +5 to your movement and a +2 to your AC, this spell does not require spell components and is committed to memory.

Archon of Echos

These archons like to be heard, it strikes fear into the hearts of their enemies. 

Thunderous Smite- When you cast this as a bonus action it no longer needs concentration and lasts 1 minute. This no longer requires components and is committed to memory. 

Archon of Elements

These archons are not phased in the face of elemental arcana, they train to destroy any who believe they are above the rest. 

Absorb Elements- You can cast this spell as a bonus action on a shield that lasts for one minute, when hit with an element, it is immediately applied to your weapon of choice and is applied to your weapon for one minute. this spell requires no components, and is committed to memory. 

Archon of Focus

You can tap into your primal raw arcane reserves and produce an inhuman focus through it.

-You can cast enhance ability as a bonus action, and in addition, you can only cast it on yourself and choose 2 abilities to enhance. 

Archon of Glass

Your silence speaks for itself, deadly and patient.

-you can cast invisibility as a bonus action, in addition as long as you use your action to attack, you can maintain your invisibility. You have it commited to memory and dont need material components to cast.

Archon of Grudges

Your twisted take on the bane spell makes most everything tremble in fear

-You can cast this spell as a bonus action, and in addition if that target attacks you, it attacks with disadvantage.

Archon of Many Skins

You can meld fibrous flesh over your armor

-As a bonus action you can cast bark skin even if you are wearing armor above a 16 AC, in addition you gain temporary hit points equal to your AC, you have this spell committed to your memory and it does not require spell components. 

Archon of the Grave

These archons are commonly after those who chase lichdom, and have embraced the necrotic nature of them to survive the encounters.

False Life- You can cast this spell as a bonus action and in addition to casting this on yourself, if you are missing hit points you regenerate 2 hit points a turn while your temporary hit points are up. This spell doesn't require spell components and is committed to memory.

Archon of the Hunt

You are keen when hunting down an enemy of the throne. 

-when you bonus action cast hunter's mark, you gain the additional benefit of being able to cast it without concentration, and you no longer need to see the target. This spell is committed to memory and does not require spell components.

Twisted Magic

At 7th level, your magic has twisted in new ways that benefit you, and demoralize your foes. 

Abjuration Bulwark (Archon of Abjuration)

As a reaction to being hit with a ranged spell, you can choose to project your mage armor as a ward to take the damage, being able to eat 5 times your fighter level in damage. 

You can also use your reaction to get a +10 to your dexterity saving throws against damage and take 10 less damage if you succeed. 

Aura of Elements (Archon of Elements)

When your Absorb elements is activated, the damage on your weapon, also radiates in a 5 foot circle around you dealing 1d6 elemental damage.

Baneful Resistance (Archon of Grudges)

-When you cast bane on an enemy, you gain resistance to any damage that target deals to you.

Booming Plate (Archon of Echos)

When you cast thunderous smite on your weapon, your armor vibrates gently, and when you are struck, your armor sends out a devastating shock wave of thunder damage. The targeet must make a Dexterity save, DC(8+ proficiency+ Intelligence modifier) on a fail, they are knocked prone and take 1d8 thunder damage. On a success they just take the damage. 

Flame Wreath (Archon of Ash)

When casting searing smite on your weapon, your entire suit of armor catches on fire as well, dealing 1d4 fire damage in a 5 foot circle around you. targets who attack you take 5 points of fire damage. If you take fire damage while wreathed in flames, you take full damage, but add that damage to your flaming aura. 

Frozen Flesh (Archon of Devils)

When you cast armor of agathys, you gain resistance to cold damage, and your weapon deals an extra d4 of cold damage. 

Greater Focuses (Archon of Focus)

-When you cast Enhance ability you can choose 3 different ways to enhance yourself. 

Hunt of the Punisher (Archon of the Hunt)

- When you cast hunter's mark on an enemy they must make a wisdom saving throw, on a fail, be overwhelmed with fear. On a success, they are still taken back 5 feet by your presence. In addition, you have advantage on all attacks on that target. 

Necrotic Steel (Archon of the Grave)

For the duration of your false life, your weapon deals an additional d6 necrotic damage.

Silent Armor (Archon of Glass)

-When you cast invisibility on yourself, you also muffle any noise your heavy armor would make, you do not take disadvantage on stealth when in armor you would have disadvantage on. 

Thorn Flesh of Flesh (Archon of Many Skins)

-When casting bark skin, your entire body is encompassed by this incredibly thorny bark, any melee attack to you returns half of it back, grappling a target, deals 2d4 pierce damage, and your AC is increased by 1. The heat metal spell cannot be used on you while bark skin is applied.

Armor of the Archon

When you choose to make your Archon Armor, it gains these benefits:

-A choice between a +1 AC or removal of the Stealth disadvantage on heavier armors. 

-You can choose one element to be resistant against

-You can immediately don this armor an doff it. 

-It becomes your spell casting focus

-You resist force damage, as the armor now flows with arcane energy.

Archon's Surge

Each new option is applied only when you action surge.

Analytical Blows (Archon of Glass)

When you action surge while invisible, your calculated strike deals an extra 3d6 damage and your critical hit range is extended to 18, and 19. If this critical hit lands, and a creature resists or is immune to your damage, resistance is removed and immunity is treated as resistance.

Contender's Armor (Archon of Abjuration)

While Mage armor is active and you action surge, you cast 5 magic missiles each dealing 1d4+1 force damage. 

Devil Spikes (Archon of Devils)

When you action surge while armor of agathys is active, you send out erupting ice spikes from the ground in a 120 foot line in front of you. The DC is equal to (8 + Proficiency + Intelligence modifier) on a failed save, the targets take 4d10 cold damage and are slowed to half movement, on a success they take half as much damage.

Elemental concentrate (Archon of Elements)

When you action surge your next elemental strike deals an extra 4d8 elemental damage.

Leech Life Arsenal (Archon of the Grave)

When you action surge with false life active, all the necrotic damage you deal, you heal back. 

Phoenix Flare (Archon of Ash)

While your searing smite is active, and you action surge your body explodes in a wave of devastating flames damaging all in its way. The DC is equal to (8 + proficiency + Intelligence Modifier) on a failed save, they take 4d10 fire damage and are caught on fire. On a success, they take half as much damage.

Rejuvenating Vigor (Archon of Many Skins)

As long as you have temporary hit points and the bark skin is still up, every time you action surge you can expend hit dice to heal yourself.

Superior Magic (Archon of Grudges)

While bane is active, and that target manages to hit you, you can use your reaction to expend an action surge to force them to re-roll. 

Thundering Blade (Archon of Echos)

While thunderous smite is active, and you action surge, you project a blade of thunderous energy in a 60 foot cone in front of you, those caught in the line of fire must make a dexterity saving roll with a DC equal to (8 + proficiency + Intelligence modifiers). On a failed save, the target takes 4d10 thunder damage and is knocked prone, on a success they take half as much damage.

Violent Attack (Archon of the Hunt)

Your next action surge attack has an extra +5 to hit, and will deal maximum damage, as well your hunter's mark damage. 

Volatile Focus (Archon of Focus)

You can expend an action surge to add a +15 to any saving throw or roll to hit a target. 

Archon's Touch

While wearing your Archon Armor and casting your devotion spell, you gain resistance to two elements of your choice, or a +3 to AC
