Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

She came to you in the night, though you swear it was but a dream.  She was so beautiful, and just as frightening.  She spoke sweet words to you, drawing you into her embrace, mesmerizing you with eyes so blue and deep that you know you would drown in them.  Her lips brushed against your throat, her warm breath turning your skin into gooseflesh, as she whispered words that you did not recognize.  Then her grip upon your body grew stronger and you could feel the steel strength beneath the beauty of her body.  Before you could respond, her teeth sank into your throat and pain ran through you like quicksilver.  You could not move as she hungrily drew the lifeblood from your body.  You quickly grew weaker, your vision growing dim as your life was pulled from your body.  You could barely see her as she rose over you and pulled her own wrist to her bloody mouth.  Her teeth ripped into her own flesh and she held her torn wrist over your mouth, her own blood flowing into your suddenly hungry mouth.  As you swallowed the coppery liquid filling your mouth, you could feel your soul becoming entwined with that of the Lady Lycoris of Ashe.

Vampyric Nature

Starting at 1st level, you've taken on the characteristics of your mistress.  Your eyes have changed, giving you 30 feet of darkvision, or giving you an additional 30 feet to an existing ability.   However, this change in your vision gives you a disadvantage on ranged attacks when your target is in direct sunlight or another type of bright light.  Your heightened senses give you an advantage on perception when hearing is involved.

Your teeth have changed, becoming sharper as your fangs have begun to grow longer.  You have a grapple and bite attack, when you are able to grapple with a victim.  When attacking any foe that possesses blood but is not of the undead, and is a large size or smaller, you may grapple and bite your foe.  A successful grapple and bite occurs when your Charisma ability check is greater than either their strength or dexterity saving throw.  A successful bite does 1d4 + warlock level, and reduces the victim's HP total by that amount.  This can only be regained after a long rest.  You will absorb this HP to heal, or to become temporary HP if you are fully healed.  You will lose these temporary HP after a short rest.  On subsequent rounds while you are successfully grappling your victim, you may continue to bite as a bonus action if your action is an attack with a dagger or a touch spell.

Your skin has grown noticeably paler, though many would likely attribute this to someone who has spent a great amount time underground or in a scholarly setting, or a long prison term.

Bat Cloud

Starting at 6th level, you have the ability to become a swarm of bats once per short rest.  This change will last 30 seconds, during which time you will have a fly speed of 40 feet.  Should you attack a single target that possesses blood and is not undead, roll your spell attack to succeed.  The swarm's damage is 1d4 + your Charisma modifier.  You ecru the same health benefits as your grapple bite, and the victim must make a CON saving throw vs your spell attack or become poisoned for one round.

The swarm of bats is resistant to all but Area of Effect attacks.  The swarm has an HP total equal to 1/4 of your total at the time you transformed, but any damage the swarm takes does not affect you once you change back.  The transformation ends early should the swarm take enough damage to reduce the total to 0.

If you are higher than 10 feet off the ground when the transformation ends, you will fall and take the appropriate amount of damage, unless you have other means to reduce or negate this damage.

Vampire

Starting at 10th level, you have finally transformed into a version of your vampire host.  You no longer benefit from healing spells and potions.  Only fresh blood will heal you, though you can store blood for 4 hours before it becomes ineffective.  Consuming blood will heal you an amount equal to the creature's CR times your CON modifier.  (Consult with your DM to determine quantity requirements)  You no longer benefit from normal food and drink, but must consume fresh blood or bloody meat to live.  Blood loses its freshness after 4 hours and must be stored in a sealed container to last longer than 5 minutes.

You are not affected in any way by running water, due to the nature of your curse.  Also, while you are not hypersensitive to sunlight (except for its effect on your ranged attacks), you are now vulnerable to radiant damage.  You also suffer from Forbiddance, which means you cannot enter a residence without an invitation from one of the occupants.

You can now cast greater invisibility once per short rest without using a spell slot.

At all times, you are able to sense whenever there are other undead within 100 feet, but you cannot tell how far or in which direction.

Create Undead

Starting at 14th level, when a creature dies within 30 seconds of a successful bite from you, the victim must make a CON save verses your Warlock level plus your Charisma modifier.  On a fail, they will immediately rise as an undead creature under your control  Their stats will be similar to those they has while alive, but with half of their total HP and half of their movement speed.  They will also be unable to cast spells, but they can use weapons if they were proficient with them before they died.  They cannot be healed in any way, and will irreversibly perish when their HP total reaches zero.  One of your former undead can never be brought back to life in any way, save a Wish spell.

You can only control a number of undead equal to your Charisma modifier at one time.  Any undead created after you reach your maximum are not under your control and will act however the DM deems likely.

At 16th level, undead created by you are vampiric in nature, and start with 3/4 their original HP.

At 20th level, any undead that you create become 1st level Warlocks, the same as you were when you first became a Warlock.  You cannot control these, but they have an affinity towards you much the same as you have with your patron.
