Base Class: Wizard
You focus on the art of combining spells to create new arcane systems and modifying the traits and features of existing spells to create new ones.
Spell Savant
While your specialty is in the craft of spells themselves, you have leaned towards a particular practice of magic. Pick a school of magic. Time and cost is halved when copying wizard spells of this school into your spellbook.

Compound Spell
You can create a larger, more complex spell from smaller ones. Starting at 2nd level, you can cast a sequence of multiple spells as an action. The sum of their levels must be no more than half your wizard level plus 1, the spells must already be prepared, and each spell must require an action or bonus action to cast.
Once you cast a compound spell, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest or until you cast a leveled spell from the school of magic you selected for Spell Savant.
Malleable Nature
At 6th level, you can now change the nature of how a spell affects a target. When you cast a spell that requires a strength, dexterity, or constitution saving throw, you can change the type to either of the other two. The same applies for intelligence, wisdom, and charisma saving throws. If the spell is of the school from your Spell Savant feature, you can ignore the starting type requirement.
Malleable Energy
You have now changed the very energy that makes up a spell. At 10th level, before you roll damage from a wizard spell, you can change the damage type to any other type except psychic.
Spell Merger
You have truly merged your spells together into your own unique spell. At 14th level, when you cast your Compound Spell, all concentration spells are marked as one spell taking up concentration. This does not enable you to double up the effects of casting the same concentration spell multiple times. Additionally, you can't concentrate on spells that weren't cast as part of your compound spells.
