Base Class: Cleric
Clerics who choose this domain choose to send people to walk on the line of living and dead, and as such, are both feared and revered for their powers.
Bonus Cantrip
When you choose this domain at 1st level, you learn the Chill Touch cantrip, if you do not already know it.
Deadly to the Touch
Starting at level 1, when a creature touches you without your permission, your divine energy resonates through them in a sudden burst of power. You may use your reaction against any creature that directly touches you without your permission to take radiant damage equal to half your cleric level, and necrotic damage equal to half your cleric level, to a minimum of 1 for each. If this drops a creature to 5 Hit Points or below, that creature immediately drops to 0 Hit Points.
Channel Divinity: Wrath of Divine
Starting at 2nd level, as an action, you present your holy symbol and pull the life force from a target creature within 15 feet of you. They must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC, or take radiant damage equal to your cleric level, and an additional necrotic damage equal to your cleric level. On a success, they take half the damage instead. You can’t use this feature on an Undead or Construct.
Deadly Radiance
Beginning at 6th level, certain spells are empowered with your divine energy. Any spell that you cast that deals necrotic or radiant damage deals additional damage of that type equal to half your Wisdom modifier.
Divine Strike
At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with antilife energy. Once on each of your tunes when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an additional 1d4 radiant damage and 1d4 necrotic damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d4 radiant damage and 2d4 necrotic damage.
Skin of Antilife
Starting at 17th level, when a creature directly touches you with your permission, you may use your Reaction to force it to make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the creature takes necrotic damage equal to your level, and radiant damage equal to your level, rather than the damage dealt by Deadly to the Touch. On a success, the creature takes half the damage. If this damage drops a creature below 25 Hit Points, it immediately drops to 0 Hit Points. The creature can only be revived through the use of a Wish spell. This feature cannot be used against undead or constructs.
Pay the Price
Due to the divine energy coursing through them, clerics who choose this domain must bear the consequences in the form of physical constraints. When you choose this domain, you gain disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity saving throws, and melee attacks with any weapon of 4 pounds or heavier. Your walking speed is also halved. Any effects that modify your movement will modify this current value.
