Base Class: Paladin

Hailing from the summit of Mount Targon, the Radiant Dawn are knights that have learned to harness solar energy as a weapon and a shield. They wield a heavy hand while resilient enough to resist heavier hands. Imbued with the fire of the sun, he Radiant Dawn are holy warriors of the Solari who defends Mount Targon. Their skin shimmers with starfire while their eyes burn with the power of the celestial Aspect within them. Characteristically armored in gold and bearing a terrible burden of ancient knowledge, the Radiant Dawn brings enlightenment to some, death to others.

Sunlight

Starting at 3rd level, you may use a bonus action to mark a target creature within range in sunlight for 1 hour, creating a source of direct sunlight and a 60-foot-radius sphere of light spreads out from a creature you choose. The sphere is bright light and sheds dim light for an additional 60 feet. If the target creature dies, your sunlight will end.  This feature requires concentration.

As an action, you can expend one spell slot to detonate the sunlight in a 5ft radius. Each target creature must make a Constitution saving throw. Each creature takes full radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.  The damage is 1d4 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d4 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d4. The damage increases by 1d4 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 6d4. This removes your source of sunlight and its sphere of light effect. You may only do this once per long rest.

Shield Bash

Starting at 3rd level, if you are wielding a shield you may spend one of your attacks to bash a creature and attempt to stun them for 1 round. The target creature must make a Constitution saving throw and is stunned until the start of their next turn on a failed save, or resists being stunned on a successful save.

Solar Projection

Starting at 7th level, you are able to project solar energy from a source of sunlight that you can see through your weapon to create a solar image and utilize it with deadly intent. As an action, you may target a creature within 20ft throwing your solar projection at them. The target creature must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking your weapon's damage as radiant damage and pulling you toward them on a failed save. You are placed within 5ft of the target creature in the direction you used this feature.

You can expend one spell slot to deal extra radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon’s damage. The extra damage is 1d6 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d6 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d6. The damage increases by 1d6 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 6d6.

You must be able to see a source of direct sunlight to use this feature

Solar Flare

Starting at 15th level, as an action you focus the true power of the sun from a source of direct sunlight onto a point you choose within range and radiates outward with intense heat. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 4d8 Radiant damage and becomes stunned until the end of their next turn on a failed save, or half as much damage  and resists becoming stunned on a successful one.

Using this feature ends your sunlight feature.

You may only use this once per long rest.
