College of Harmonics

The College of Harmonics was started by a group of bards who formed into a choir.  Over time, and practice, they learned how to use their magic to extend their melodies so that they could begin to harmonize with themselves.  These tools slowly were taught to others.  Now any large group of bards inevitably has one who belongs to the College of Harmonics within it.

Harmonic Inspiration

At 3rd level : Roll a bardic inspiration die as a bonus action on your turn.  WIthin the next minute, you can cast a spell that requires concentration, with a level equal to your die roll or lower.  When this spell is cast it stays active for the full duration without you needing to concentrate on it.  As this spell is a harmony from your normal castings, you can use this ability to concentrate on numerous spells at the same time.  Each additional spell will need it’s own bardic inspiration die used.

Harmonic Chords

At 6th level : Your powers of concentration improve.  You gain advantage on concentration saves.  

Harmonic Overlays

At 6th level : You have learned how to cast multiple spells at the same time using Harmonic Overlays.  When using you Harmonic Inspiration Feature, AND you cast the concentration spells in the same round as your bonus action, you can cast multiple concentration spells at the same time.  The total spell levels must add up equal to the die roll or lower.  This overrides the rule about only casting one spell in a turn.

Enduring Harmonies

At 14th level : Your concentration spells increase in duration (instantaneous spells become 1 round per level, 1 round per level spells become 1 minute, 1 minute becomes 10 minutes, 10 minutes becomes 1 hour, 1 hour becomes 8 hours, 8 hours becomes 24 hours).
