Monk
Base Class: Monk

As civilization evolves people start to forget any kind of moral teachings that they might have known.  Over time technology naturally evolves and things like chivalry and fair play fall to the wayside.  Monks who follow the Way of the Blade have embraced the more civil and simple way of life, and they call it the Way of the Blade.  Tales have been told of the Light side and the Dark side, of swords of light that could melt steel.  These stories began with the Way of the Blade.

Martial Blade Arts

You have dedicated yourself completely to the Way of the Blade.  At 3rd level you can use your sword for flurry of blows attacks as well as the bonus attack from your monk martial arts ability.  You also gain proficiency in all blades that do not have the two handed or heavy weapon properties.  If the blade you are using is a versatile weapon, you can use it one or two handed and retain the benefits of this subclass.  When wielding a blade without the two-handed weapon or heavy weapon properties, it is treated as a monk weapon.

Magic Touch

Starting at 3rd level, you have learned to manifest mage hand at will.  This spell is cast without verbal components.

Magic Leap

You have learned to add force to your jumps.  By using a bonus action and spending 1 ki, you can cast the jump spell without any verbal, somatic or material components.

Redirect Strike

At 6th level: When using your deflect arrows feature, you can redirect the attack (without reducing the attack to 0 damage).  Make an attack against a target within 30’ of you.  If you hit, you deal full damage minus the amount you would have reduced the damage from it due to your deflect arrows.  You can deflect ray-like single target spell attacks as well.

Parry

Starting At 6th level, you gain a bonus to your armor class equal to your proficiency bonus, as long as you have a melee blade in hand, are not incapacitated and are not wearing any armor or wielding a shield.

Magic Lift

Starting at 11th level, you can cast telekinesis at will a number of times per day equal to your wisdom modifier.  This ability resets on a long rest.  This spell is cast without verbal components.

Improved Deflection

Starting at 17th level, your deflection abilities raise to near perfection.  Your first deflection/redirection of a ranged attack each round can be done as a free action.
