Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

Donning his helmet, the man rises from prayer. Grasping the massive blade by the grip and placing it over his shoulder, he moves to the door. Screams of pain from outdoors as devilkin fill the skies, Avernus has invaded our Realm. Placing his Tempormortis before him, time seems to stop, and he begins his furious execution

A half-elf woman, squared against Banshee, an unholy revenant of menacing demeanor. She impales her blade through the ghastly figure, placing her free hand on its face and purifying the damned soul, setting it free.

Judiciars are not to be trifled with, they move with purpose and fight with a fervor only found within the Gods themselves. Bound by faith and fury, these enigmatic wielders of the great blade are the exorcist of the battlefield, able to consecrate the ground upon which they stand and purify the undead, and to return hellspawn from which they came.

Master of the Blade

The Judiciars knowledge of martial weapons allows them to attack in a flurry of blows with two handed weapons. If you are attacking with a two handed martial weapon, you can make an additional attack.

At higher levels: At 11th level, you may make two additional attacks when wielding a two handed martial weapon.

Unbridled Faith

Your unbridled faith in your cause allows you to gain favor with your Deity each time you deal damage to an enemy. Each time you deal damage, add a faith point. You can not gain more than 4 faith points.

You may expend faith points to gain an advantage during Ability Checks or Saving throws.

Tempormortis

Starting at 7th level, you are able to use your Temportmortis. During the first round of combat, on your turn you may target an enemy that you can see within 10ft. The target must make a DC15 Dexterity save. If the target fails, it is moved to the end of the initiative list until the end of the encounter. Using the Tempormortis consumes a faith point and can only be done once per long rest.

At Higher Levels: Starting at 11th level, any target you apply this condition to, attacks and does ability checks at a disadvantage.

Scornful Rebuke

Starting at 15th level, those who dare to strike you are psychically punished for their audacity. Whenever a creature hits you with an attack, that creature takes psychic damage equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) if you’re not incapacitated

Faith in Prayer

Starting at 15th level, you can take time during a short rest or long rest to pray to your Deity and restore 1 faith point.

At Higher Levels: Starting at 20th level, you may restore up to 2 faith points during prayer.

Divine Blade

At 20th level, you gain the ability to harness extraordinary martial prowess. As an action, you can magically become an avatar resembling your Deity, gaining the following benefits for 1 minute:

  • You have resistance to all damage.
  • When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can make one additional attack as part of that action.
  • Your melee weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
