Base Class: Warlock
Haudina, the Ruby Lady of Death is an aloof entity that rarely grants any magical power to her worshipers and thus has relatively few clergy. She does, however, occasionally select individuals from among her devotees to serve as her agents, offering them the eldritch pact of the warlock. Her contract is simple: access to raw magical power and a longer lifespan in exchange for the immortal essence of the chosen individual.
It is unknown what the Ruby Lady does with the souls of those committed to her contract. While some believe that such souls still wander the cosmos pursuing her inscrutable agenda, others say they are assigned the task of maintaining the paths by which the newly deceased arrive at their final rewards. However, the most common belief is that the energy of these souls is extracted and infused into the very substance of magic itself, thereby destroying the chosen soul utterly.

Eldritch Insight
You gain proficiency with the Arcana skill. If you are already proficient, you may add double your proficiency bonus on all INT(Arcana) checks.
Eldritch Fortification
You can use some the raw magical power granted to you by the Ruby Lady to protect yourself from attack. You may use your reaction to cast shield. Additionally, upon reaching 14th level, eldritch fortification also turns a critical hit against you into a normal, cancelling any other effects that would be triggered by a critical hit.
You may not use eldritch fortification again until after you have finished either a short or a long rest.
Eldritch Infusion
Choose one damage type from the following list: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, radiant, or thunder. When you cast a spell that uses one of the listed damage types, you may change its damage type to the one you selected. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your CHA modifier. You regain all uses of this feature after a long rest.

Eldritch Siphon
A mass of creeping shadow reaches out from your hands toward a creature you can see within 60 feet, draining their life force to replenish your magical powers. That creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target has its hit point total permanently reduced by 1d10 and you regain one spell slot. On each of your turns for the next minute, you can use your action to force the target to make another Constitution saving throw or have its hit point total reduced by another 1d10 while restoring another of your spell slots.
You cannot use eldritch siphon to gain more spell slots than your warlock level would normally grant you.
The effect ends if you use your action to do anything else or if the target succeeds on its Constitution save. If it succeeds on its saving throw, the target creature is immune to eldritch siphon for 24 hours.
You regain the use of this feature after a long rest.
