"Ha! You can't stab me from all the way over there!"
-person who got stabbed from all the way over there

The Warpblade is an extremely unusual style of combat, allowing the user to enjoy greatly extended reach by sending their weapon through tears in space-time. Somehow, this was easier than walking over to hit the other guy with your sword. Or, like, getting a bow or something.

Warpblade v1.01, now with actual functionality! Abilities had to be reworked to scale off of proficiency instead of Str/Dex though.

Warp Strike

Starting at 3rd level, you can bend time and space to strike from afar. When you take the Attack action, you may open up a portal, allowing yourself to make a melee weapon attack against any creature you see within 30 feet. This feature may be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. This becomes double your proficiency bonus at level 5, triple your proficiency bonus at level 11, and quadruple your proficiency bonus at level 20.

Attack Vector

Starting at 7th level, you can warp your attacks from an angle difficult to defend from. When you use you Warp Strike feature, you may grant yourself advantage on the attack roll. This feature may be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Brief Wormhole

Starting at 10th level, your portals are stable enough to teleport yourself through entirely. As a bonus action, you may teleport to a location you can see within 60 feet. This feature may be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. This movement does not provoke Attacks of Opportunity.

Endless Assault

Your warping attacks can never truly miss; they simply warp into another portal. Starting at 15th level, whenever you use a Warp Strike and miss, regain that use of Warp Strike.

Rewarp

Starting at 18th level, you can force other creatures to undergo spontaneous teleportation. As an action, you may teleport a creature you can see within 60 feet of you to teleport to a point you choose within 5 feet of yourself. If the creature is unwilling, it makes a DEX save with DC = (8 + Your Proficiency Modifier + the higher of your STR or DEX modifiers). On a successful save, the creature is not teleported. You may use this feature once per long rest.
