Base Class: Monk

As a Bird of Prey, you must learn to strike with all your might, and take the mental and physical beatings given by society, monsters, and nature herself. In addition, as a distant ancestor to dragons, you can learn how to become an even mightier enemy.

Focused Falcon

At 3rd level, you may choose from among one Offensive and one Defensive feature. In addition, your maximum hit points are increased by 1, and by an additional 6th, 11th, and 17th level.

Always Watching

You watch your enemies closely, allowing you to dodge attacks more easily and increasing your perception.

Critical Moment

While your hit points are below 50% of your max hit points, your critical hit chance is increased for unarmed strikes and talons. While you have only 1 hit point, your unarmed strikes and talons always crit.

Harmonious Hawk

At 6th level, you can choose to learn a combat ability or a passive ability. Additionally, when you perform a long rest, you can meditate for an additional 5 minutes. When you do, your maximum ki is increased by 1 until your next rest.

Calm Before the Storm

Grants access to the Bonus Action "Remain Calm", and the attack "Raging Storm". 

Bonus Action - Remain Calm: 

You gain 1 calm mind point. Subtract 2 from your next attack roll, and add 1 to your AC until an enemy attacking you misses or the start of your next turn. Use this bonus action only before you attack.

Attack - Raging Storm: 

Spend 1 ki point and 3 calm mind points. Create a small storm that deals 1d12 + your dexterity modifier damage to enemies within a 12 feet radius. 

Tame Bird

You can speak to and order around birds, but cannot understand them. Additionally, you can spend 1 ki to tame up to one bird you come across. When you do, you roll for its stats, subtract 1 from each of the stats, then assign their stats as follows: 

- You put its highest roll into Dexterity, and its second highest roll into wisdom.

- You put its lowest roll into strength, and its second lowest roll into constitution.

- You may assign the middle two rolls to intelligence and charisma.

Evolving Eagle

At 11th level, you can choose an offensive feature or a defensive feature. Additionally, your unarmed strikes and talons deal 1d4 additional damage.

Bladed Feathers

You gain the attack "Throwing Feathers". 

Throwing Feathers: 

You pluck a chunk of your feathers, dealing 1d8 + 1d4 + your dexterity modifier in damage. This attack is affected by the monks martial arts feature.

Resilient Bastbird

You get used to being unconscious, making you more resilient and able to recover faster.

Valiant Vulture

At 17th level, you can choose any option that you haven't chosen that isn't a Draconic Secret. Additionally, whenever an enemy is hurt by a burn effect, you can restore 1 hit point.

Vulture Gluttony

Whenever an enemy is hurt by a burn effect, you may restore 1 hit point.

Draconic Secrets

At 3rd and 11th level, you can learn one Draconic Secret. At 6th and 17th level, you can learn two Draconic Secrets. Whenever you would meditate, you may meditate for 10 extra minutes. If you do, you can change out one of your Draconic Secrets for another one you could learn at your level.

Adragoline

Whenever you perform a rest, you lose all other Adragoline buffs and roll 1d6. On a result of 1 or 2, your attack rolls are increased by 1. On a result of 3 or 4, your initiative is

increased by 2. On a result of 5 - 6, your maximum hit points are increased by 3.

Chromatic Resilience

Attacks that deal over 20 damage to you deal 20 damage instead, and can't reduce your hit points below 1.

Confident Leadership

Increases your charisma by 1. You gain the bonus action "Strong Leader"

Strong Leader: 

You give an ally useful advice for their next attack, increasing their next attack roll and damage by 1.

Draconic Talons

Your unarmed strike and talons deal 2 additional damage, deal fire damage, and when they deal damage, you roll 1d6. On a 4 or higher, they cause enemies to burn.

Elder Focus

When you activate a ki ability, roll a d20. If the result is more than 16, you recover 1 ki.

Fire Storm

Raging Storm burns anyone it damages. You may spend ki points as if they were calm points to pay for Raging Storm's costs.

Phoenix Feathers

Your stealth modifier is decreased by 5.

Throwing Feather causes enemies to burn.

When you become stable, you may spend 2 ki to restore 1 hit point, gain 15 temporary hit points, and to cause a burst of flame to erupt 8 feet around you that deals 5 damage and burns any entity within its range.

Sacred Dance

Your performance skill is increased by 2 while dancing. Additionally, your initiative is increased by 2 while you're below 33% of your maximum hit points.

Spicy Breath

Bonus Action - Dragon's Breath: 

Spend 1 or 2 ki points to breathe fire in a 12 feet range. Every 1 feet, it expands in width by 1 feet, up to 6 feet. It deals 2d6 damage plus your constitution modifier. If 2 ki was spent to activate this attack, it deals an additional 1d6 + 2 damage.

Tough Scales

Whenever you're dealt damage by an opponent's weapon or spell, you roll 1d6. If the result is 4 or higher, you take 1 less damage from that weapon or spell.

Treasure Lovers Anonymous

Whenever you receive gold, you gain more gold based on the original amount received.

Watchful Dragon

When an enemy misses you, if their attack roll was within 5 of your AC, you burn that enemy.
