Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Unlike other wizards and mages, you have spent your time studying the art of blade throwing, and ehanced such abilities with your arcane skills.

Student of Blades

You gain proficiency with light armor, and daggers. You also know the Blade Ward spell.

Arcane Blades

You can expend a single spell slot to increase both the attack roll and the damage roll of a knife throw. The bonus granted is equal to your (Intelligence modifier) * (Spell slot level)

For example, if you were to expend a level 2 spell slot, and your Intelligence modifier was 4, the bonus would equal 8. The bonus does not replace any other bonuses, so if your Dexterity modifier is 2, and your proficiency modifier is also 2, the bonus to your attack roll will equal 12.'

Also, utilising Conjuration magic, you may return any knives that you have thrown to your inventory as a bonus action.

Extra Attack

Starting at level 6, you can take an extra Attack action.

Knowledge and Power

Starting at level 10, you may add your Intelligence modifier to both the attack roll and the damage roll when you throw a dagger.

Also, when you throw a dagger, a Natural 19 or 20 counts as a critical hit, rather than just a natural 20.

Daggerlord

Starting at level 14, using your action to throw a knife, you gain the following benefits:

  • If you are making an attack roll that utilises your Arcane Blades bonus, if the final result of the roll, after adding all modifiers, equals above a 35, the roll counts as a critical hit.
  • As a reaction, if you see a creature that you have hit with a throwing knife within the last hour deal damage to any other creature, you may utilise Conjuration magic to throw a knife at them, which has a damage roll of: 1d4 + your Intelligence modifier + your Dexterity modifier. You are not able to use Arcane Blades for this reaction.
