Base Class: Sorcerer
You have the dawn light in your blood. One of your ancestors made a deal with a solar or perhaps with the local God of the sun. Your family line is touched with an inner radiance that is so strong that it is nearly visible. But in you, the sun’s power has found an outlet. Radiant fire is at your fingertips, and it’s heat burns to get out,
Divinity of the Sun
The sun is linked to the divine. Starting at 1st level, when you gain new spells or replace spells, you can select spells from the cleric list as long as they are related to the sun, light or radiant damage.
Flames of the Sun
Starting at 1st level, when you cast a spell or cantrip that deals fire damage you cast you can change the damage type to radiant damage.
Mantle of the Sun
Starting at 1st level, as an action, you can surround yourself with a Mantle of the Sun. This Mantle grants you a pool of temporary hit points equal to your sorcerer level times 5. At the beginning of your turn the Mantle regains hit points equal to your Charisma modifier. If you are in daylight, within a spell effect that creates daylight or sunshine, or are within 5’ of an object that creates daylight or sunshine the Mantle regains an additional 10 points each round. The Mantle is created without any temporary hit points in it’s pool and must be allowed to fill naturally. The Mantle remains indefinitely until dismissed as a bonus action. The.Mantle creates a 60 foot bright light followed by 60 foot dim light at all times (this effect cannot be turned off).
Penetrating Light
Starting at 6th level, your radiant fire abilities strengthen and now penetrate more deeply. You treat any creature with immunity to radiant damage as only resistant to radiant damage. Any creature with resistance to radiant damage you treat as not resistant to radiant damage. You increase your spell attack rolls and increase your spell difficulty checks by your Charisma modifier for all radiant damage spells and cantrips (including fire damage spells and cantrips that you converted to radiant damage).
Solar Fuel
Starting at 14th level, you can sacrifice a spell to fuel your solar shield. Choose a spell slot to sacrifice, add the spell slot level to your armor class and saving throws. This lasts until you dismiss your Mantle of the Sun.
Solar’s Blessing
Starting at 18th level, the sun in your veins shows itself in your outwards appearance. You become an outsider, become immune to radiant and necrotic damage and gain the ability to summon wings of radiant fire. As a bonus action you can summon or dismiss your wings of radiant fire, these give you a fly speed equal to your movement speed. They remain until they are dismissed.
