Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

A Pegasus Knight is well diverse in combat, by supporting the party with their swift and fast going attacks. Pegasus Knights often lead the charge into battle, often charging in to strike opponents and leave their attack range without provoking opportunity attacks.

Knight Training

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your knight training has come to procession. You can treat weapons without the heavy property as having the finesse property. Additionally, you gain proficiency in Dexterity saving throws.

Born to Fly

Starting at 3rd, your mastery as a pegasus knight becomes apparent. You gain proficiency in animal handling. You have advantage on saving throws made to avoid falling off your mount. If you fall off your mount and descend no more than 10 feet, you can land on your feet if you’re not incapacitated.

Finally, mounting or dismounting a creature costs you only 5 feet of movement, rather than half your speed.

Hit and Run

Also at 3rd level, when you hit with a melee weapon attack against a creature, that creature can’t make opportunity attacks against you for the rest of your turn.

Evasion

At 7th level, your instinctive agility lets you dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a green dragon’s poison breath or a lightning bolt spell. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Alert Stance

At 10th level, you learn to fend off strikes directed at you and your mount. If you are wielding a weapon with the finesse property, as a bonus action, you can add your proficiency bonus to your AC against creatures that hits you with a melee attack, potentially causing the attack to miss you. You lose the benefits of this feature if you willingly move 5ft from the spot you provoke your Alert Stance from or if you perform the Attack action.

Pegasus Resilience

At 15th level, while you are mounted on a pegasus, you adopt the resilience of your mount. When you make a saving throw against a spell, you can use your reaction to add your proficiency bonus, potentially causing the spell to fail.

Triangle Attack

Starting at 18th level, if you and two allies that aren't incapacitated, are within 5ft of the creature, you can perform a Triangle Attack with the two allies. When you take the Attack action on your turn, your allies can make a melee attack as a free action. While performing Triangle Attack, if you or your allies roll a natural 19 or 20, it results in a critical hit.
