Bard
Base Class: Bard

Whether in polite society of in the tavern main room, a fan serves many purposes.  You have studied the College of Fans and know all of its uses, from implying an emotion, to stating a fact without speaking, to causing an enemy to bleed to protecting yourselves from a similar issue.

Language of the Fan

Starting At 3rd level you learn the many uses of the fan.  Generally you will use a metallic fan, although the class abilities work with a fan made of any materials.  When hitting 3rd level you can use your fan to communicate with others in a minor fashion.  You can give simple commands as well as show general emotions through a flick or twist of the fan.  Your intention is received correctly with a DC 10 insight check for simple concepts, and a DC 15 for a more complex message.  The fan becomes your spellcasting focus.  You also add your proficiency bonus to your diplomacy and intimidate checks.

Calligraphy

Starting At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with calligraphy tools.  This benefit is applied to both the written word as well as drawings.

Fan Blade

Starting at 3rd level, you can use your fan as a weapon.  If you are using a cloth or paper fan the weapon attack deals 1d4 piercing damage from the rigid monture.  If you are using a metallic fan the damage is 1d6 damage, either slashing or piercing.

Fan Gust

Starting at 3rd level you gain the gust cantrip.  This does not count against the number of cantrips that you know.  Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this cantrip.

Fan Flourish

Starting at 3rd level, you can flourish your fan and gain a bonus to your armor class equal to your proficiency bonus when not wearing armor or wielding a shield.

Wind Fan

Starting At 6th level, you can cast the gust of wind spell a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus.  Your spellcasting ability for this spell is your charisma modifier.  After you expend your spells you must take a long rest to recharge them.  Alternately you can expend 1 bardic inspiration die to cast the spell.

Mystical Flourish

Your fan, while remaining non magical in others’ hands, becomes a magic weapon in yours.  Starting at 6th level, treat your fan as a magic weapon, divide your proficiency bonus in half (round down), this is the bonus on attack and damage that your fan has

Fan of Graceful Sways

Starting at 14th level, you can enter a fan dance that hides defensive and offensive maneuvers behind the graceful sways of the fan.  For the next 1 minute you add your charisma modifier to your armor class, saving throws, attack rolls and damage rolls.  In addition, when you hit an enemy with your fan, you can push them back 5 feet automatically.
