Base Class: Ranger
Some rangers have learned that the best way to survive in the wilderness is to use the very earth and stone against your enemies. You have learned to harness the power of the earth as a weapon and a defense.
Stone Satellites and your Stone Reservoir
You command the stone around you to do your bidding. You tear chunks of it from the ground and direct it to float in circles around you. You use these Stone Satellites as a reservoir of materials, but like all reservoirs, if you deplete it all, there is nothing left to draw from. At 3rd level, as part of your short or long rests you pull stone from the ground and use it as your Stone Satellites, which fills your Stone Reservoir. This reservoir has a number of Stone Points equal to double your caster level.
Pebble Projectiles
Starting At 3rd level, you can cause a small piece of stone to detach itself from your Stone Satellites, imbue it with magic and shoot it toward your enemy. As an action, make a ranged spell attack, it has a range of 120 feet and deals 1d6 + your spellcasting modifier magical bludgeoning damage. Hit or miss the stones loose their magic after the attack. As you increase in levels so does the damage, at 7th level it increases to 2d6 + your spellcasting modifier, at 11th it increases to 3d6 + your spellcasting modifier, at 15th level it increases to 4d6 + your spellcasting modifier. This ability costs 0 Stone Reservoir points.
Stone Shield
Starting at 3rd level, as a reaction, you can cause some of your Stone Satellites to interpose themselves between you and a triggering attack or spell. You gain a +5 to your armor class or saving throw against that single attack or spell. This ability costs 1 Stone Reservoir point.
Improved Pebble Projectiles
Starting At 7th level, you no longer have disadvantage when attacking with a ranged attack or ranged spell attack while in melee range.
Stone Boulder
Starting At 7th level you can cause a piece of your Stone Satellites to pull free and enlarge to the size of a large boulder. This boulder rolls away from you in a straight line crushing everything in its way. Every creature in a 30 foot line, 5 foot wide must make a Dexterity saving throw versus your spellcasting DC or take 1d6 bludgeoning damage per your caster level and are knocked prone. If a creature makes the saving throw, they take half damage and are not knocked prone. This ability costs 5 Stone Reservoir points.
Stone Wall
Starting At 11th level, as an action, you can use a portion of your Stone Satellites to create a [spell]wall of stone(/spell] spell. This ability is cast at its lowest level. This ability costs 10 Stone Reservoir points.
Stone Shell
Starting At 15th level, you shatter your Stone Satellites into thousands of stones of all sizes that orbit you. You add your proficiency bonus to your armor class and saving throws. When an attack is successfully made against you there is a 25% chance that the attack is a complete miss due to interposing stones.
