Base Class: Bard
While others turn to song, to music, to drama, or to dancing to entertain others, you have chosen a different path to pursue in your bardic journey. You have spent the time necessary to broaden your mind to reach out to the fates and destinies of those who come into your life
Surprise Surprise
When you join the College of the Tarot, you open your mind to the fates around you. Your thoughts are in tune with destiny, allowing you to sense events before they happen. You have an advantage to any initiative rolls you make. You can no longer be surprised by anything that you can see around you. You have an advantage on your perception rolls. You have an advantage to insight checks involving anyone for whom you are reading the tarot cards for.
Tell Me Tell Me
While reading three cards that another person has selected from your deck, you may be able to receive a brief incite into the thoughts and intents of the person who has selected cards from your deck. They must make a wisdom saving throw, with a DC equal to 10 plus your Bard level, or you will know the person's alignment, and what their general emotions are toward you. Pass or fail, the person is not aware of the fact that you were attempting to read their emotional aura, beyond the fact that you are trying to see their future for them.
Once per short rest, when you lay your tarot cards before you and choose 3 cards, you will have some incite into the immediate future. Receiving information much like the casting of the Augury spell, the fates will convey whether your plans will have good results, bad results, both good and bad results, or neither. The DM will use the cards to convey one of these results to you.
I Can See
At 6th level, you gain the ability to look farther into the future, to see more clearly what the fates have in store for either yourself, or those for whom you read your cards.
Using your tarot cards, you are able to seek information in a similar fashion to casting the Divination spell. You can perform this ability but once per long rest when you or another draws three cards from the tarot deck.
Master of the Fates
When you reach 14th level, your mind can now grasp a clearer picture of the day before you. You can actually foresee small pieces of the future and you have the ability to twist these to your will. Immediately after a long rest you must roll three d20s. You write down the numbers that you roll. Before your next long rest, you can take one of these numbers and replace any d20 that you or someone with 30 feet of you rolls. Once a number is used, it expires and has no further power.
